Britain is to get its own dedicated space agency, Science and Innovation Minister Lord Drayson has announced.

Excellent news. Space science, research, and satellite manufacture ARE the future for the UK economy and would help shift the emphasis away from over reliance on the fragile service sector. With predicted growth of 5% a year until 2020, Space is the arena on which Britain should now focus upon.

just the sort of waste of money we need during a recession. I see Brown wants to send billions to the 3rd World , including India, who have a space programme and atomic bombs already. Can someone spot the mistake here?
