The simple answer is, that Tesco cannot build in that way, in a designated area. It could be, and most definitely will be, challenged to the nth degree.

I remember being in the Crown and Sceptre, when representatives of four of the big supermarkets were relaxing. That was 8 years ago.

And all of them left empty handed.

Until T&S stores came up for grabs, then Tesco went in through the backdoor.

How many unemployed in Crediton would want to work part-time for Tesco, anyway?

Tescos must have been donating money to the NewLabour NeoCon party..........
Voting for these crooks does not mean they will build policies for you, but if you donate large monies to MPs ,this would be top up on their salaries and expenses' fiddles, they would then build policies and, hense, privileges for you.

what is so wrong with a supermarket selling cheap food with free parking? and Tesco is still offering a final salary pension to employees. Some people here hate any successful business, and then accuse them of giving bribes. People go to tesco and Asda and Morrisons because they sell good cheap stuff, not rubbishy overpriced tat like some places.

Very catchy song A D F .... and it explains exactly why Tesco can undercut local products ... slave labour, the ultimate aim of Leahy and his neocon cohorts.

No it's Baron Wayner de Giblette, in charge of the pilchard flavoured vaginal douche for the elites from Mongo.
