Spotted: Mom on Lam With New Identity
Alex Firestone was 14 years old when her mom, Sandra Gebert, disappeared. "It was just a simple hug, a kiss goodbye, I love you and I will be back soon," Firestone told ABC News.

If it can be proven that the mother broke a UK law in abandoning her family; and if her intellectual property were seen as proceeds of the crime, UK courts sometimes have powers to take the proceeds of crime away.

That would be wonderful. After raiding the family bank accounts, she left without looking back or contributing one dime to their support. If her behavior doesn't constitute a crime, I'll eat one of her trashy romance novels. |
