Why was he allowed to get a hazmat license? he had already been charged and convicted of a bomb hoax and then you gave him a license to drive a potential mega bomb. what the hell were people thinking?

That bomb hoax was an admitted prank to a friend, for which he apologised, served probation, and has nothing to do with the present.
The real issue is his driving record. His penchant for speeding makes me wonder how he got a CDL license in the first place

BOSTON -- The Dover, N.H., truck driver blamed for rolling his gasoline-filled tanker and setting an Everett neighborhood ablaze was convicted of a 1996 bomb hoax in which he sent a pair of sneakers with a threatening note through the UPS facility in Chelmsford. Chad LaFrance was sentenced to six months probation in 1997 after pleading guilty in U.S. District Court in Boston to a misdemeanor offense of obstructing mail delivery for sending a bomb hoax from Methuen to his former employer.

And as for has nothing to do with the present. in most all states a bomb hoax is felony. and since he was convicted of a bomb hoax why would someone take the chance that next time he gets pissed off at an exboss that the next bomb "a gasoline tanker" wouldn't be real.

obviously not a genius..but why is this guy driving haz-mat loads? on the other hand, would the motoring public be any safer if he were driving a bread truck?
