The problem with building in this kind of area is the lack of surrounding infrastructure. Unless major investment in that is made all you are doing is spreading the problem wider in the hope that someone else will have to find a real solution.

stop all immigration and repatriate all illegals and criminal types and perhaps we won't need more houses? And the main reason people want to escape to the Green Belt is to escape from "diversity and vibrancy" and the crime that goes with them.
