Council takes more than 7 years to investigate the complaints. Quite considerate of them to even bother at all. I can see the script for a sitcom in this.

Secularism, not religion? We need to deal with the question of waning religion. Religion doesn’t and never did, guide people morally. Behaviour and morals are functions more of personality and environment than religion, or lack of religion. People are concerned about social cohesion.

We need to sort our social and crime problems too. The crime rate is a drain on resources and drags Britain down. Especially perhaps the cultures of drink and drugs?
