These guys and there 'letting' business are bad news they will rob you of your deposit and they will see you with a cold damp house and they dont even care. They are sleezy old men!!!!! seriously do not rent from these guys and Lexxus!!!!

Dear Anon- I have read your comments and I am unable to responde to this as I do not know who I am talking to and where you lived because you are anonymous! If the central heating was used your house would not have been cold or damp. We do care. Contact me. tom.bignell@fsmail.net

I quite agree. We were left without central heating and hot water for 6 weeks during January and February some yars back now. All we got was a measly £5 per week reduction in rent for the period.
The university relations person had a several large files on these two full of complaints. This is good few years ago now, so I guess the number of files can only have increased.
We also were told that our deposit would not be returned in full due to the water rates. When I enquired as with the authorities as to what the rates were for the property, I discovered each of the three flats in the house were being charged the full amount, rather than 1/3 each.
AVOID At ALL COSTS.

I have just had a brush with these two. I was not given my own card for the electricity meter which I thought was strange but I gave thenm the benefit of the doubt. I was charged £30 a week electricity and complained about it from Feb to June but it wasn't fixed. I moved out when I found out the guy downstairs was paying £3 a week. Tom and Neil-you do the maths, something is wrong here!!! The week before I moved I couldn't get hold of anyone and was without any tokens and electricity for a few days, I thoroughly cleaned the whole place, even communal areas but they have still managed to find a reason not to give me my full bond back. Something to do with a deduction for tenant protection which they have managed to put somewhere in the contract. Nice work. I am a student teacher, it may not be a lot of money to them but it is to me.
Be wary of these two whos company goes by the name Look Letting now.

Yes they are indeed going by the name of look letting ltd now. I am also a former tenant who has been conned out of my deposit, which in total amassed a huge £1,500!
Tom is a thief and a liar. I have tried to contact him on numerous occasions and he was always in 'Spain' however he turned up in Co-Op in Aberystwyth today!

Be warned everyone, stay away from these guys, they are bad news
