Ammanford a forgotten town

It's ironic that Ammanford Town Councillors are up in arms about this topic, when it is they who have neglected the town over the years. Why would Carmarthenshire County Council advertise Ammanford when it has nothing to offer. No one would really want to visit Ammanford,whilst it is being negelected by the commununity leaders. The poor road system is a disgrace and enough to put anyone off---there are traffic jams from one end of the town to the other. There are a number of empty building sites which are an absolute eyesore. The demolition of the old Police Station was scandalous ! Have you tried to have a nice evening meal with elderly people or children in Ammanford---there is no where !!!! The centre of Ammanford on Friday and Saturday nights is more akin to the Wild West, and certainly not the place for people under the age of 40. The town has the potential to be very nice, but we do need leaders who are not stuck in their old fashioned ways. This council was disbanded a few years ago, I can now see why !!

Don't blame the Ammanford Town Council, they have no say in the matter. Blame the CCC and the local County Councillor for the organised demise of Ammanford.
