Removal of rescue boat jeopardised Loch anglers

The lack of a locally-based rescue boat caused a forty-five minute delay in the search for four anglers whose boat sank in a loch, a local politician has claimed. The pleas to restore a boat service from the Oban Fire Station are bound to grow louder in the wake of this tragedy. The men were heard shouting for help by a friend camping on the shore of the very deep loch.
