Thus it begins,.... and let's see, two ships coming towards each other from opposing directions,.. do we see a collision course here?

Ya know,REALLY...WHY THE HYPE?? Who or what are they trying to memorialize...the historic "unsinkable" ocean liner or the innocent souls who perished in the icy waters below? I agree, it WAS a remarkable discovery. Praises were sung, awards given and artifacts stolen from the site of the ship and the dead. Let the ship rust away in peace and allow the descendants of the survivors also to be at peace. History cannot be changed, it's a done deal. But what remains to be true, is how you continue on after a tragic event changed your life forever....

They've already gotten to the bottom of it in depth?

Sooo funny your interpretation of my comment. Just think for a moment, WHAT DO PEOPLE always say about the Titanic? Yes, she was awesome in size, regal and stately and elegance reined of her day. THAT'S IT!! How beautiful her interiors of the first class rooms were, the fancy dining areas and her majestic adornments of fashion. All about, how sad that she is becoming a rusted heap of sea junk. Within her many floor levels, crushed beyond recognition of first class or steerage..lies memories of a once grandeur era of promise. Decorated mosaic tiles, designed strands of gold embracing dishes and glassware. The amount of jewelry hidden deep in the rubble. Bottles of vintage wine never to grace the lips for whom they were meant. IT'S ALL ABOUT..the material items left behind NOT about how tragic lives were cut short in an instant. Oh yeah, with all the concentration on the architecture and the best of the best of everything. Not too mention WHO will be aboard..they should have paid attention in greater detail to the ship's lower half..after all that is the part that was going to be submerged in the ocean's water. A few rivets and thin plates of iron steel should have been questioned. But noooo, it was all about millionaires and being the first to make the maiden voyage in a brand new state-of-the-arc ocean liner of it's day. So, instead of visiting the site of doom and wondering just WHAT treasures may still be lying in the deep...just pray for those that never did make it to their new life of freedom. ROCK ON!

Don't be defensive "Chick", rather than an interpretation of your words I think the poster was using word play for humor, not disputing your opinion at all. It's all fun when in pun. (<:

The iceberg caused it, but the romaineing ship stayed on course.
