Then we can start the healing of the Black race without the influence of the white race. And after we have healed this land of America of its racial cancer then we can start the process of healing Africa but only ....after we have driven the white cancer from that continent too.

All bad language is here to stay, how we chose to use it in verbal context is defining all of us, I don't agree that we should all agree to discontinue the word, instead we all need to put it into perspective of what is was,is and will be. It is a slow moving process, but it is moving. I can't stand Elisabeth Hasselbeck, but Whoopi's comment's were racist and offensive to me. I am glad I don't watch the "V" show. lol The "C" word? What is this "C" word. I don't think I'm familiar with what you speak of concerning the "C" word. Elaborate please and excuse my ignorance.

Decendant of an Scottish indentured servant, worse than a slave. Throughout my ancestor history they had one goal and that was to better themselves and their decendants lives. We ARE NOT Scottish-American WE ARE PLAIN OLE AMERICANS and darn proud of it. We blame no one for our misfortunes and are glad we have the present. To hypen our name would be a disgrace to our forefathers. I have no disire to go to Scottland for my home is here and I'm working to better the future of my up coming kin. GOD BLESS THE USA

I saw the View episode in question. And I can relate to both Whoopie and Elizabeths position. The "N" word is not an endearing term and it is often used to degrade an individual. While I am not black nor do I use the "N" word, I did grow up in a home which demonstrated ignorance and hate against those who were not caucasian. I do not understand why a black person would knowingly use the "N" word as an endearing or acceptable term within the realm of a conversation. While some may not agree, I find the "B" word just as demeaning, because it is a descriptive word generally used to negatively label women. Nothing good can come of using either word in a conversation regardless of race or gender.

What planet are you from? Have you noticed the way blacks treat their own in African countries? You have got to be kidding me. Blacks have a corner market on cruel behavior with their own kind. They are not innocent. In fact it doesnt really matter whet color the man is...if it's a man it's going to be something cruel. If women ran the world there would be no war. Og wait a minute, I work with nothing but women and they all hate each other. Um....never mind

What about the use of the word Cracker? Why can blacks get away with calling white people Cracker, but when someone uses the N Word, Al Sharpton jumps up and down like a damn moron.

Indigenous wrote: People forget that it is white people who originally coined the phrase beginning with the Spanish word Negro. We took that word, and transferred its ugly connotation, into something that could be used, however negative it was. As the late Mr. Malcolm X said in his autobiography: "I was called that word so much, I thought it was my name" and remember, this was after his family was broken-up by the STATE, and he was put into the foster-care system. Elizabeth, was getting emotional for no reason, white people have names that they call each other, but they are careful not to use these words in public,(some are at least) every ethnic group in the U.S. is called by some negative name by other groups in the U.S., but these names don't have a lasting effect, because these various ethnic groups have their heritage intact, and they usually will not stay angry at each other for long periods of time, they will communicate, and get things straightened out. So-called Negroes on the other hand, have a heritage identity problem, we have not sorted out our problems concerning heritage, we have let others, and have been content with others, defining who we are. Thus, we have gone from Indian, Amerindian, Mulato, Negro, Colored, Black, Black-Americans, Afra-American, Afro-American, African-American, and every negative thing in between. Until we learn our true indentity, we will be whatever anybody wants to call us, and If we accept and allow that to go as fact, that is what we will be. We have not fought for our human-rights. The word N*****, is a violation of our indigenous heritage, and human-rights, as the indigenous people of the Americas. Because our people wanted so desperately to be a part of the new world being built,(the U.S.A) they forgot all of their heritage, and human rights, they didn't even teach us our own doggone language. Language is the key ingredient to a people's heritage, it is what gives them the insights into their culture. Lack of language is what keeps a people savage and subservient. Now you know why the U.S. has an English only mindset. It is to keep and control Negroes in an Euro/English/Christian state of subservience/dependence. He who controls the language and thoughts of a people, control that people! So-called Negroes, must change the way we speak and talk, to each other, and to the world. Check out: http://fiaah.org What a bunch of hogwash!

Not only that, but my son got beat up by a gang of white supremists because his friend was black. My son's have black friends too. Our neighborhood has a nice blend of people of many races. We've only had problems with the white crack head 2 houses down and lucky us, he moved last week. He attacked my eldest last year, shoved him on the ground fixing to beat the snuff out of him. Crack head lost.

Why don't we hear about that part of our history? Oh, if only they could have had it half as good as the slaves did. They would have been so happy. For some reason this horrible era in american History is being ignored and not taught in schools. What's up with that? Lots of people have suffered through history, remember the Japanese who lived here in WWII? They were transported to camps, blacks don't own the corner off suffering.

I've never watch her movies. I always thought she looks like she just fell out of a tree. Its called human evolution according to environment. After the LA riots when truck driver Denny was attacked and a brick thrown like a baseball into his head resulting in permanent disability tells me this race is not a good fit in america. They stir up more terrorist actions than all the arabs here put together. They all should have been returned to their country of origin after the civil war ended. Thanks to our elitists politicians, america is a cesspool of human toxic waste from around the world. Those responsible for dennys attack should have been hanged.

She wouldn't when Rosie would start either. She will not argue and fight with anyone about anything on the show. She does not like if the show turns that way. They are there to present views and discuss each view but going beyond that is over the line. Rosie accussed Barbara of not sticking up for her and I think when the show turns to arguing and fighting then its in bad taste. Joy Behar always voices her propaganda....i mean view, when it comes to bashing George Bush and putting down christianity and conservatism....as long as she knows whoopi, sherry and barbara agree with her dumb point of view. But if she doesn't agree with those three, she becomes a mute. She would never speak in defense of Elisabeth's views. AS far as when Rosie was there, Joy couldn't get a word in edgewise, so she had to shut up.

Hasselcrack has no idea what life is like outside her perfect little elitist "WHITE" world and for her to comment on it and proclaim she lives in the "same world" as black people is ludicrous. I look it the same way as the B word. If you are a woman and one of your girlfriends says to you, "Hey B*tch whats up" it is different than if a male calls you a B*tch. Same thing with the N word. Who says it and in what context it is used makes ALL the difference. Its not about what content but who (Race) is allowed to use it...Double standard.. How can you move forward when your dividing.. The word (slang) is wrong no matter how you use it- No excuses. No justifications needed.. Elisabeth is correct.. No more watching the view for me...Too Liberal
