I don't like Elisabeth and she irritates the heck out of me. I don't believe she should be fired but she should be reprimanded severely. She also needs to learn to debate without getting emotional and hogging the conversation. She needs to learn to listen before talking.

She needs to be fired! She's been on far too long and she knows better.

She has had plenty of time to improve but has not.

She seems to show evidence of a serious personality disorder and needs to be off-the-air.

I don't really care for Elizabeth but she should stay otherwise the show would be one sided.

After all the show is called The View.

This is America and everybody has the right to their opinion.

She can be immediately replace with another moderate or conservative person or two! Almost anybody would be better than Elisabeth!

Today, thank God Joy Behar was off sick! The show was much better without her and I hope she does not return.

I am watching the View right now and I cannot believe that crap that Elizabeth Hassleback is spewing. She is monsterous and has to go! I am aware that she has a right to her opinion but when she is deliberately vile - that is just uncalled for. Her and her views and ideals are what the Republican party expresses and they should all be ashamed of themselves.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck is "the show’s resident spiteful backwards reactionary fact-ignoring common sense-deprived world-hating Bible-humping bumbling yokel."

What is funny is how you now have Sherrie pointing out her mistakes. Sherrie is new to the political game and she sees the weakness in Elisabeth's points. If Elisabeth would listen before she says something she would talk a lot less. You can see her brain start to go into the defensive mode before the point has been made. I think she is so rude.

Elisabeth has spoken often of how she repeatedly votes for her favorites on shows like "American Idol" and "The Bachelor."

You can be sure that ALL of the positive votes for Elisabeth Hasselbeck in the poll above are being done by her, her husband and the rest of their families. The Hasselbecks want her to keep putting the bread on the table and Tim looooves the lifestyle her paycheck provides. His career as a benchwarmer seems to be over and I don't think he has any other skills.

Elisabeth would be easier to stomach if she weren't so BLIND to anything other than the Republican spin that infects her. On any other plane, she would think that Sarah Palin is a nice enough "soccer mom," but probably woudln't give her the time of day. Since Palin's the party's nominee, Elisabeth takes up the pitbull mentality...once she starts an attack she just can't think until her prey is killed.

I agree with you. She does not debate well. Babs needs a conservative who can explain the case in a civil conservation.

I don't hate Elisabeth, but I do hate that fact that she cannot think for herself and just repeats whatever GOP garbage someone fits into her pea sized brain. Enough already , I wish the show would find someone with conservative views that actually can form a thought and a complete sentence in a meaningful and thoughtful way. Look I don't mind the differing opinions it enhances the show and I always look forward to learning something, but not when the person has beliefs and cannot articulate why she believes them. Come on SHE'S DUMB!

Elizabeth is way too competitive and agressive. She acts like she thinks she's in some kind of contest (Survivor = her only claim to fame?)and must win at all costs. Her points are lost in her hysterical, screeching delivery.

I really hate those hand gestures she does. She must think she's being oh so cute or clever, pretending she's a referee and demanding a time out EWWWWWWW!

The other hideous overdone thing is when she's out in the audience with someone who's allowed to say a few words in the microphone like "we'll be right back." Why must she squeal "goood job" or "goood work" like the person has done something wonderful? She is so trite, fake and juvenile.

Elisabeth squints way too much. She must need glasses and should have them checked if she's wearing contacts as she looks beady-eyed and sneaky.

There really isn't anything I like about her, come to think of it although I share her opinions much of the time, believe it or not lol. That is why SOME OTHER REPUBLICAN or INDEPENDENT is needed because few people like her for all of the reasons mentioned here in this forum.

Ignorant Blondie is dangerous and, if not removed from the show, should at least be closed captioned with double-checked facts supporting or correcting her biased ultra-conservative fascist opinions.

I wouldn't mind if she's dubbed with a nicer, more melodious voice. Hers sounds like nails on a chalkboard.

Enough already! Her views are not only irritating but extremely dangerous. She lacks perspective, analysis, or common sense; and yet she invades millions of homes with extreme comments that may influence in the wrong direction. She does not give balance to the show. On the contrary she tilts it too much to the right. She lives in the Middle Ages, in the days when witches were hunted and burnt at the stake. Is she really obtuse or working as a mole for FOX contaminating ABC's airtime?

While Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Palin are saying that Williams Ayers is still a terrorist and Obama is one for being around him, neither of these, "Good Cristians" have allowd for forgiveness.

They are so hell bent on winning an election that they are not thinking about the family of William Ayers and what they must be going through. Is it fair to him and his family that his past be thrown in everybody's face 40 years later.

It's shameful...Even Paul, you know from the Bible, was forgiven for his sins, and people follow his words til this day...and this behavior has been supported by McCain. Truly bad judgement.

Obama has very poor judgment to have associated with the ODDBALL RADICALS such as ACORN, AYERS, REZKO, REV. WRIGHT! His parents were both radicals and the grandparents who raised him and his mother probably were as well. He is a mulatto and has identity problems.

Character DOES MATTER especially in the President of a country. We are not voting for a reality show.

Obama is being sued right now over his birth certificate. He may not even be eligible to be running in the election.

Even his wife tried to coverup her term paper that had racial overtones. Even though they once again try brushing that off by saying it was many years ago, she looks bitter and angry and said in the campaign it is the first time she's really proud of the country.

Obama's campaign contributors are in question.

This guy is sneaky and underhanded. If he has nothing to hide, he would not be defensive and evasive.

She doesn't set a good example on how to have healthy political discussions where you can express your viewpoint while still having respect for others. I'm sick of seeing her make stupid faces while the others are expressing their viewpoints. Unfortunately, her rants probably help The View's ratings so they will never get rid of her. She really belongs on a Sirius radio talk show and off of mainstream media.
