I can't believe WLS got rid of Bill Leff--Roe needs him. I am now turning my radio channel to Gary Meier full time during that slot.
If WGN is smart, the would put Bill Leff and Wendy Snider together during the 9 to noon spot. Bill and Wendy subbed for Roe several times, and I totally enjoyed their show. |

I got over half way through your article, before I realized you were auditioning to be Conan's sidekick.
I know things are tough in the newspaper business, but I suggest you keep the day job for as long as you can. Ever been a bouncer? |

Who cares? They are just a bunch of overpriced, unfunny without their writers far-left liberals. What? Taboo to make fun of a half-black president? C'mon, when and if they take off the kid gloves regarding Barry, then I may start to watch. But the constant Republican, conservative, Christian bashing has reached the point ofd no return for me. Later far-left loons.

Bill Leff is okay, but never could figure out the pairing with Conn...too many off the wall asides to guests who didn't 'get' the joke, and some frankly were not appropriate to the discussion. Chrisina won't be missed; she never was a big contributor to the discussion, even after they supposedly elevated her to something beyond traffic after the first layoffs.
I suspect that this "show of record" nonsense" that the Roe Conn show is promoting will backfire as listeners tire of the lectures and rants. Conn's ego is getting more ginormous, to the point where regulars like Ron Majers and guests alike can barely get a word in edgewise while Roe impresses with his insight or facts. The broadcast on the day the body was found in the river was almost laughable, with Roe and Amy falling all over themselves to create the impression this had to be the missing women and they got a scoop from a caller. Their tails between legs show once the body was identified was far less inflated. Where once this was an entertaiing diversion for the drive home, it's now less laughs, more opinion and soapboxing. I can't deal with Rush, Agar and Connity - not sure the one or two segments that are a little lighter are worth the dialing. Like the earlier poster, I'll likely spend more time on WBBM after the 3:00 segment with Ron. |

Amy Jacobson is tragically not funny or interesting. This may be the beginning of the end for the Roe Conn show. It was really funny with Bill, Christina and Jim.

Amy J is awkward. Mancow is rubbish.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. By saving money, Citadel is messing with the formula that brings in the audience.
Bill, Christina, Roe, & Jim were a perfect combination. I'm sure Citadel could have found other areas to cut like the managers who made the cost cutting decision who have just reduced the income to the station by losing more audience members. Wherever Bill goes, I will listen |
