I have purchased my converter box, but after setting it up on my picture in picture TV's, I now have no pic in pic.

Are there any converter boxes that allow for pic in pic.

We have multiple televisions that run off a splitter/amplifier from our rooftop antenna. My husband would like to install one converter box between the antenna and the splitter. Is this possible? Or do we need a separate converter box for each television in our home?

You would think, but the goal of the transition is to make money off the consumer, so I'd say that you'd probably need two.

You need one for each TV or else you'll have to watch the same channel on both TV's. Same thing goes for your VCR and Picture-in-Picture. You can't record a channel other than the one you're watching.

That hasn't worked in years. I keep mine on my head nowadays.

At least with analog, I could still watch the show with a little static or snow, but with DTV, you have to have a good signal or no TV.

My problem is the signal strength of some of the incoming signals is so weak that the sinal keeps drifting off.the signal starts to stutter and soon is unwatchable. There must be a antenna with a amplifier built in or a seperate amp that can be used with your rabbit ears.NEED HELP ! BOBDOMINGO

That's the exact problem I'm having. Best of luck, I can't help you there.

I got my box today. I don't have cable so of course I'm using the antenna. I don't have a complaint about the quality of the picture. It's crystal clear. My compaint is I can't get NBC or ABC to come in at all. Can anyone help?

Why? We don't watch enough TV to pay for it.

You all are so lucky. Madison, WI does not even have a supply of boxes, no idea when they'll be in and our 'coupons' are expiring! GRRRR

Was house sitting this past sunday, and had access to direct T.V. ended up half watching a couple of movies from the 90’s and HGTV. Personally I’m not willing to pay for that.

There is never anything on and what is on sucks balls.

I'd like HBO Sho, skinemax, and Encore. If I could get those four channels without any of the others, I may consider watching it-but I don't want to pay for anything and then have to watch thousands of commercials.

In Jacksonville "First Coast News", NBC and ABC are both owned by Gannett Broadcasting. WJXT 4.1 (News 4 Jax) is on the same tower at the same heading and distance as NBC and ABC and I get that station fine. Gannett Broadcasting has a low signal strength to save money.

File a complaint with the FCC:

I sent away for my coupons back in January, and still have not received them. I tried ordering more, but the recording said I already ordered the maximum amount. WTF? I guess I'll just have to suffer through watching my Direct T.V. This just means I have to make sure I keep paying the damn bill so it doesn't get cut off. LOL
