Why is it that we group any and all people who read a comic book to be a crazed fan "collector" type? Most people who read newspapers read the comic sections, yet we don't treat them like semi-literate geeks. I don't automatically assume anyone reading a book is a book collector or anyone buying a CD is automatically an audiophile. So why does this stigma still stick with comic books?

they forgot to mention methods of keeping track of your comics (in case you actually start to collect and cant remember every single book you own) and they forgot to mention a way to find out the values of your books, in case they do actually go up in value...both of these things can be done at a 100% free website called ComicBookRealm.com
