My friends and I have played a web game where we guess the name of the song and the name of the TV show, using a website that has several thousand television theme songs going back to before we were born. Ironically though, we not only know the "classic" TV themes from re-runs, YouTube and Hulu better than today's forgettable fluff, we've caught ourselves whistling the tunes later and downloading the ringtones. The old stuff is catchy, it has humor, drama and character. It's fun. Today, commercials have better music than the shows. That's ripe.
