Yah, as long as it is YOUR films and not someone else's. Good, I hope You Tube loses this suit and pays the studios, you know the actors need much more money. LOL

You Tube has added so much to the Web. It'd be a shame to see them shut down. Most of the copyrighted stuff is just clips of material that'd already been broadcast on TV. I can't see how they're taking bread off anyone's table--take away You Tube and they're still not going to be any richer.

They want to stop pirating like they had to do in music. Hell the Sex in the City movie is not even out yet, and they are selling it here on the streets at Santee Alley for 20 bucks. It is the actors that do not want their images on U YouTube.
I agree, how we going to watch our football pics? Or home made music videos?

As far as i'm concerned, actors may not want their images on YouTube in SOME CASES, but most of them admit its great PR for them.

Let's face it.. actors are overpaid and overvalued in this society. They are mostly people who lack early skills to do something more "productive" on this earth, so choose a superficial means to the end.

And as far as Sex in the City's movie already "out" ... who cares? The actors have already been paid their 14.5 million each ! Why feel sad for any of them.. they sell their bodies, minds, faces for a living.

oh, and by the way, Sex and the City stars may not get a cut of the $20.00 DVD's on sale on the street, but when you think of it:

When's the last time you were paid for something YOU SAID that started a trend, fad, or general usage amongst the general public? I think never.

The actors have been paid already. Their movie(s) will undoubtedly give them much more millions in royalties for the rest of their lives.. they are greedy fu*ckers.

I don't see Tommy Hilfiger or any other Fashion mogul suing China for all their fake knock-offs. Its useless. They know it. They'll never stop it.

IMITATION IS THE BEST FLATTERY.

We can agree they are over paid, but really without actors then you got nothing. Umm not sure where you got your numbers on Sex in the City movie, they were paid, well SJP made 41M plus a piece of the action after cost but little cost as this is first film made with POS.

No Tommy and the rest of the fashion world have the US Customs DEPT on their side. Buying frauda clothes or handbags is helping the terrorist in their mission against us. And ya, Tommy has filed a suit against copy cat stealing his designs. I hope you do not buy fakes or fraudas as we call them here.

Tommy Emmanuel jokingly referred to his "Guitar Boogie" as "The YouTube Song" because it was posted there so much. Great tune.

Daily Horoscope for November 26

Capricorn

The Moon enters your fourth house of home and family today, urging you to spend more time with your loved ones. There may be trouble brewing at home, so head it off at the pass before tomorrow, when conditions are right for a blowout. Take the time to really listen to what the people you live with are saying. If you live by yourself, you might want to water your plants and talk to them for a while; they miss you.
