Olbermann is an arrogant pompous jerk who wouldn't know the truth if it bit him in the butt. Why do these football programs always put on these so-called "political pundits" to analyze.

From the article:
"Is this a straight newscast at this point?" Olbermann said. "Probably not..."

Understatement of the year. Probbably not? Is he serious? This is what drives people nuts. We all have our own opinions, but don't try to pass off your views as NEWS. Fox does the same thing as well as many others.

Rush Limbaugh, love him or hate him, has never once pretended to host a "news" program. He makes no bones about the fact that what you are hearing is his view of the world. He doesn't strive to be objective, and he freely states it. Meanwhile, folks like Olbermann promote a false sense of "newsyness" (Thanks Colbert!) around themselves and sell themselves as journalists.

The Sun has a problem with this. Editorials should be editorials, and news stories should be news stories. That line has been eroded deeply on Calvert St. What ISN'T reported on can be as important as what is.(For example, the huge amount of protest surrounding the recent special session. If you just read The Sun, you'd think everyone in Maryland was in full support of it.)

I'm no fan of Olbermann, but he definately has talent. The only thing he needs to change is the pretense that his show is anything but an opinion show.(Which is fine!) The Sun should drop the pretense as well.

This show gets fewer than 300,000 viewers a night. In other words, no one but left wing idiots take any notice of it.
