APPEARS THE WRITER DOESN'T GET IT. REBA AND GEORGE HAVE BEEN NAMED KING AND QUEEN OF COUNTRY MUSIC FOR A REASON. THIS IS THEIR STUFF. THIS IS WHAT STILL LETS THEM PLAY ARENA'S SINCE THE 80S. THEY HAVE A GREAT FOLLOWING AND DO IT WELL YEAR IN AND YEAR OUT. THEY ARE NOT THE USUAL COUNTRY STARS THAT END UP PLAYING CASINOS AND COUNTY FAIRS.
IT WAS A GREAT SHOW FROM START TO FINISH.
SORRY FOR THE WRITER THAT THINKS THAT COUNTRY MUSIC HAS TO SOUND LIKE ROCK N ROLL. ITS APPARENT THAT THE WRITER DOESN'T UNDERSTAND THAT THERE ARE DIFFERENT STYLES OF COUNTRY MUSIC AND THAT GEORGE STRIAT DOES THE CLASSIC TRADITIONAL THAT HAS STOOD THE TEST OF TIME (OVER 50 #1S).

I used to love Reba, but I liked her better when she was the genuine big-haired, buck toothed, white trash Reba. With all the work she's had done she's just not the same.

That was the most spectacular concert ever!! We saw George Strait in MPLS a couple years ago. This was by far a better show.. Reba was hot!! She looks good in menopause!! George, will always be as sexy as ever.

i'm not sure this is fair. Reba is allowed to present the show she wants to present i guess. she does do it pretty well i think.

George played the Xcel the last time he was here and the time before that he played the DOME and the time before that he was at the Target Center. With about 4-5 years between each visit to the Cities. The Target Center sucks for a wide variety of reasons, sound being one of them. I loved it even though I had ringin in my ears from the feedback and yes, Reba got loud. What do I care. I enjoyed it and I love George. I could do without LeAnn though.

Is it just me, or is every country western song about a dog, pick-up, or ex-wife. Classic Rock, now that's music.

I love George and I will always love him. I have said it before and I will say it again. The man does not need to run around the stage like an idiot saying "look at me look at me" he has the audience from start to finish. Most people that go see him have seen him before and know what to expect. Reba is a bouncy red head who owns the stage when she is on it and I expect that from her. She is an entertainer. The both are two very diffrent people and I for one would rather see them together then Garth Brooks and George or Garth and Reba. Garth is all show and has nothing to back it up. There is a reason George is still playing the Arena's and Garth is sucking it up in Vegas. GEORGE IS KING and will be forever, because he has class! Im sorry you feel that way mister. Beside the fact that the Target Center sucks anyways you must have been at a diffrent show or got stuck going instead of doing what you wanted to do which is at home washing your hair! For those of us who paid to see the concert it was worth it.

The writer needs to understand Country music before writing a review. George & Reba have different styles, those attending likely new that before purchasing a ticket. My first time at the Target Center for a concert and the sounds in there is pretty awful. Xcel was better in 2006.

You sir, are an idiot! Wow dude, way to bash Reba. One of not on the greatest country artists of all time but one of the greatest artists period. Just because for some reason you dont like Reba doesnt mean you have to act like she is a novice or doesnt deserve to share the stage with George Strait. If anything they are great together b/c they are so different. Strait needs to learn how to entertain besides just stand there and pretend to play the guitar and sure Reba maybe could back off some but there is no denying her talent. Reba deserves better than your review and quite honestly I've only ever seen great reviews for her on this tour and I myself saw this same concert in Atlanta and both Artists were phenominal. And hearing grown men in the audience singing along to soft ballads from Reba was something that proves her talent and appeal. Maybe you should speak for yourself when you say Reba should stay at home.

That concert was the best! Reba was in great form last night and we enjoyed every minute of the concert. George as a male country act only has to stand still and sing with his guitar, whereas all the female acts in country music have always had to work twice as hard as the men. She is very comfortable singing a slow ballad or an uptempo song. Great concert!

Amen to that. After hearing the Rolling Stones a decade or two ago there, vowed never to go back and haven't. Too bad they didn't book the Xcel, the sound is amazing in that place.

I wasn't really looking forward to Reba a ton, but I actually enjoyed it a lot. Of course I came for George though.
Reba did good I thought, I was expecting more costume changes and more talking, but it was mostly singing.

It was my first time seeing George & I loved it. I knew about half the songs, but the others are ones I will download.
He isn't about big TV's, lights, etc like other artists are (not that it's bad), but he's all about singing. Loved it, and hope he comes back soon!

Let me tell you, "entertainers" like Gaga and the rest of her no-talent colleagues can only turn over in their sleep dreaming of sounding half as good as Reba. The woman can sing.
