Vinnie was a down to earth guy and will be greatly missed. Paul Jr. acts like he is so cool. He is lazy, lazy. Who is going to pick up the slack when he comes in with a hang over in the morning. Not Vinnie! I guess Mikie might have to step up to the plate when this happens. Good Luck Vinnie in what ever you do. You are better off leaving.

I think what everyone is forgetting is that Vinnie has a family to support and puts his family first as we all do. It was a decision that was hard but on the other handle it was a decision to better himself and make things better for his wife and kids. We all work hard at are jobs. But a good employer always should take care of the key people who helped put them where they are. Yea people are replaceable but what Vinnie gave to the company is not. Paul Jr. starting slacking because he is daddy's son as Mikey has always done. Mikes’ contract was a joke. He could not even come to work on time to do nothing. Jr. Came in when ever he wanted. Sr. lost control of employees because Jr. was setting a standard that anything goes. Other employees see that and want the same treatment. It's a domino affect. Vinnie and Cody will do fine. Vinnie has a good head on his shoulders and will make a hell of a company because he showed he is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. That’s a true worker.

It definitely won't be the same without Vinny in the show. I wonder if they will ever consider a TV show. If they do, I don't think it would do well. Vinny has a bland personality and Cody..well.

I really don't think Vinnie (and probably Rick) are making anywhere near what their hard work is helping to bring in. For example, in the presentation of the bike to the Iowa Farm Bureau a guy asks how much would it cost me to get a bike like that. Sr. refuses to announce any kind of price range and insinuates that he wouldn’t be able to afford it and then tells the guys to "sit down" and the company representative says "priceless". The point is the Teutuls are bringing in absolutely tons of money off each one of these builds (mainly because businesses what to get promotion and exposure through the show) and the "employees" don't get anywhere near a decent percent of the amount of money that their product (they've worked extremely hard on and spent countless late night hours away from their families building) brings in for the Teutuls.
As another poster already brought to brought to attention, "Vin also said something on the ethanol bike episode about "No Bennies"[Benefits]". Isn't that just great! No benefits for the hard working employees, but yet Paul senior doesn't seem to have any insurance or financial concerns about getting his eye problems looked into? Also, Vinnie isn't able to afford to hire a roofing company to fix his roof (or even get any time away from work to do it himself) in his (from the way it looked) tiny little house, but Paul senior can give his girlfriend and Jr. brand new expensive bikes, has a brand new million (or multi-million) dollar house, and drives to work in a Hummer every day? Paul Jr. has a new house as well and is able to flaunt his wealth on frivolous things just the same, and yet he (and Mikey) still always complains about wanting even more money for what little he even does around there anymore? I mean come on get real! I don't blame Vinnie for getting tired of being shafted by these exploiting egomaniacs and wanting to move on to something better. I just hope that Rick sees this as the inspiration that he needs to stand up for himself and leave the Teutuls also (maybe to work WITH Vinnie as an equal, not under someone else’s thumb as is always the case at OCC). I've read several posts from other some of these business owners on here that basically have the same "screw over the hard working employees while sitting on my ass and getting rich" mentality. You people, and you know who you are, are the reason that working people hate some management and owner types. You’re exploiters, plan and simple. If it wasn’t for child labor and minimum wage laws, you’d be the same people that would have 7 year old slave labor working for a nickel a day or even LESS, while you sat on an even bigger pile of money. You should be ashamed of yourself for treating your workers like that. The Teutuls should be ashamed of treating not only their “workers” but their friends like that. I really hope that Rick leaves soon. Then everyone that is actually deserving of the absorbent amount of money that these bikes brings in will leave the Teutuls high and dry. |

1 Stop assuming. For all we know he left because he wanted a new challenge. |

I agree with most everything said here. Ultimately we will probably never know why Vinnie left the company/show.
From my perspective, the show really started it's downhill slide two seasons ago when they were moving into the new building. The Teutel's lost track of their roots, and then their appeal. Now that they have garnered some success, we get to watch their excessive consumption and large egos. Guy's like Vinnie get left in the dust, and was probably sick of it. It's all Karma. Mark my words, the Teutels will be a distant memory in a year, and bank-o in two years. |

ah ha! Here's the original thread! Topix has been re routing me to some other Vinnie thread instead of this one...
Topix can be lame at times. |

Did anyone ever stop to think that this is a SHOW? If they all get together to make a big deal of an employee simply moving on, it makes for great TV and great drama even if there was NO animosity between them whatsoever.
Think professional wrestling storylines and calm down. It ain't real people, it's TV!!!! |

We will find out how replaceable a person is when Snr dies.
Anyway, I always thought Jnr was a tosser for wearing designer glasses in a metal shop. I`ll bet that the two idiots have re-contracted rick to better reflect his contribution to the company so that he does not walk. Unless those two really are idiots. |

Orange County Chopper was once a family company with a family feel. Its trully a dame shame when a show gets too big that they decided they dont need one of the best worker in the bussiness. Vinnie was the best person on the show. I will miss his humor and his level of skill. Remember this Vinnie, You will always be one of the best bike builder out there. If you start builder your own bikes under your name. I will be in line to buy one. Good Luck and God Speed.

I suppose its a matter of tastes but whenever this croud build a bike and senior test rides it, the only thing I can see is a hairy pig sitting on a lawnmower. These bikes are a joke, totally impractical, I mean what idiot would build a bike you couldn't see over the handle bars. In the UK it would be banned from the road. The fat rear tyre looks ridiculous, and all have a single saddle!!, sorry love I cant give you a lift this $35,000 piece of junk only seats one person.
I hear the next bike they are building is for Porkys, Junior has already come up with the idea of the headlight being in the shape of a pigs snout. Rock on and the fools that make them rich. |

I dont see the need for all this emotion, firstly its business.Trust me Paul snr protects his interests and his business like any good father and busnessman should do.As for Vinnie, all men in thier work life move on ,its a natural process. He will now spread his wings and see what the world has to offer him and everyone wishes him all the best.Any break up canbe a little emotional and upsetting but posting negative comments towards the Teutels is unfounded and just plain stupid, grow some nuts there men im sure they will all be ok.
