This sucks. Vinnie is highly skilled and needs to be compensated for his efforts. It does not surprise me that there are changes underway. Fame will screw up a good thing in a hurry if people can;t keep there head from getting too big. The fact that a lawer is needed indicates something bad behind the scenes.

Cody on the other hand was somewhat of a punk kid. He needs a good kick in the butt. He needs to mature and maybe come back. You don't ever want to lose good skilled people.

It's not going to be the same for OCC now. Vinnie was my favorite & picked up for everyone when they were slacking off. Vinnie and Mikey kept me watching the show. This sucks... I hope Vinnie moves on to be successful and maybe have a show of his own one day!!! That would be nice!:) We live you Vinnie!!

It goes both ways. Where would O.C.C. be without Vinnie? Vinnie's been with O.C.C. since the inception, put in a lot of work, worked probably harder than anyone in the shop and yet was treated like another worker. Which is fair most of the time, but Vinnie was not just another worker. He did just as much work as Paulie and went home to a modest house with little to show for, while you have the Tetul's living in lavish homes with fancy cars. That is life, but it's not necessarily fair. And I don't blame Vinnie. He had to cover for Paulie so often and wasn't shown that he was appreciated. The Tetuls have become big headed with all the money they are making, that's the problem.

I cant belive it! They let Vinnie go? I just watched the episode and it just makes me sad. Not only did he practically build all of the "big time" bikes for them, he also was a a big reason why people watched the show..Vinnie balanced out the constant bickering and fighting. Paul Sr. said that everyone is replacable...and that is true for the most part...but not in this situation. I probably will not watch the show anymore. It just sucks.

I liked Vinnie's down to earth attitude. He is a family man first and a mechanic second. He would be a great mechanic for any business that deals with custom cars or bikes. I think Vinnie may be better suited for bulding custom cars anyways. That is where he developed his chops anyway.
It is sad to see Vinnie go, and Cody needs some time to see the big world and how he fits in.
OCC Choppers may have outgrown themselves. Like any business that goes global and is big time, the down home town, down to earth ways go out the door. I just hope OCC does not get so big it has to go bankrupt because they bit off more than they could chew.

Yea, I hear both sides. Where would Vinnie be without OCC,BUT where would OCC be without Vinnie. You could tell that the Tutels kept the wealth in the family. Vinnie did deserve more probably. Paul Sr. is mostly a typical macho boss saying "everyones replaceable". I'm pretty sure they had NO idea Vinnie was gonna bolt. Now little Cody followed. I hope the Tutels pride and perhaps arrogance does'nt end them up bankrupt. Seems like relationships should be saved over disagreements, but who knows the REAL story?!

Paul Sr. is probably the most replacable person on the show, seriously. The reason people watch the show is because of the main characters, and Vinnie was one of them, not just some worker. The filthy rich Tuetels just couldn't give up any of their money.

I think it's pathetic how Paul Sr. didn't give Vinnie any special recognition for his contributions over the many years. Hell, he at least deserved a going away party. Instead Paul Sr. makes an off the mark comment that every employee is 'replaceable'. Was it too difficult to take the time to acknowledge an individual publicly that contributed to their business success as much as or perhaps more so than his own lazy son? Paul Sr. you didn't need a bigger building anymore than you need a bigger ego.

I agree with most that has been said here. I watched every episode Vinnie I would bet Vinnie was the highest paid non Tutel. I hope Rick is in there too, he is totally awesome. I don't think any of them are starving. Vinnie must of wanted a share of the show and the biz he should of got it. I mean wtf! Vin was a main player and it won't be the same without him. Sr's. tough guy attitude is getting old his heart is ready to blow anyway.

I have watched every episode of this show and Vinnie is a huge part of OCC's incredible success! From the beginning, Vinnie had the work ethic and continuously put up with the strained dynamics between Junior and Senior. Yes, Senior and Junior started the business and ultimately own it. Yes employees are not always entitled to all the rewards. Yes, Mikey was brought in and given a great deal of publicity because of his personality without ever having truly built a bike. Where was Vinnie? Vinnie was there from the beginning and always put 100%+. I think it's admirable that Vinnie hasn't sold his soul to the corporate jugernaut and television hipe. He has realized, as many viewers have, that his committment to OCC has gone passively unrecognized for too long. For Senior to say that everybody is replaceable; I say that every action has a reaction. Vinnies' departure from OCC will have a negative impact on the show, the product and the companies' ultimate success. People might be replaceable, but there are a lot of other shows on the television and many other quality bike builders. After seeing how Vinnie has been treated, this viewer will no longer watch OCC, and without viewership and publicity, OCC will have a harder time paying for that nice new building of theirs'. Quality people build companies and money and fame far too often muddy the corporate common sense. If TLC ever thinks of a reality show with Vinnie and Cody starting up their own chopper shop, the majority of OCC viewers might likely jump ship. Without a foundation, the strongest buildings fall. Anyone that has knowledge of this show's success knows that Vinnie helped put OCC on the map. How sound is OCC's foundation now. Who will fix Juniors' screw-ups? Who will be next to leave? The unraveling has begun.

I completely agree with you all......this show keeps getting worse and tonight learning Vinnie is gone is the last straw. Jr. is such a lazy ass now and is full of himself....Sr. is just a luck ass s.o.b.......he is such a dumb m'fer...Well this goes to show the inevitable decline in good work ethic to save a buck and these losers have sealed their fate....Teutuls=jack asses of the century. wish I never started watching the show. I'm happy Vinnie stuck it to them....they didn't deserve such a loyal and hard working employee. F'em is my motto...sellouts to their original fans of hard work and meager beginnings. POS Teutuls..except for Mikey...he's the least fake of em all.

The show started about building bikes and turned into a soap opera. Lets face it how many frames and wheel combo's can you have.
I think discovery started tweaking the show to get more ratings and keep it rolling for a while longer.
As far as vinnie he was your basic great employee that should have got more recognition than paulie or that DUM DUM designer that plays with a computer all day in the office.
As far as I see it after seeing a few shows with Indian Larry they couldnt carry his tool box.
Well he is dead and their show along with Lobster wars and ice truckers will be soon.
They are cheap to produce and when the Stars get known and start pushing for bigger bucks the shows end.

I always thought that the Teutels were decent caring human beings. I remember the early years, building a Santa Claus bike, giving gifts to kids..Pauly serving in his church..and BUILDING BIKES! Was all that phony? How can decent human beings use someone for their own monetary gain and notoriety? Obviously, Vinnie and Rick do most of the work on the bikes and get very little credit. I am done with the show. I couldn't believe Paul's last comment that anyone is replaceable..he better remember who helped make him what he is today. Don't worry Vinnie..God has something better for you!

I think that the Teutels will see a huge negitive impact to their business and the show now that Vinnie has left. I agree that the it was the Teutels business and they were luck enough to ein the lottery and be given the opportunity to have a show like this. The Teutels forget that it is people like Vinnie, Rick and even Cody that have made the show what it is. If they weren't there to make the show the OCC worldwide franchise would have never been what it is today and Paul and Paulie would be in a small shop creating bikes and hoping that someone would actually buy one. I for one am turned off by the show now and will no longer buy their merchandise. They showed now sympathy or gratitude for Vinnie. I hope that they can relize that money and fame have gone to their heads before they lose everything. They could be doing so much good with the wealth that they have. Vinnie to me was, "American Chopper".
