Kathie Lee Gifford to join 'Today' show

I cant even tell you how much this uppity women who thinks she's all that annoys me. Somebody PPLLEEAASSEE fire her.

Kathie Lee Gifford is a crown jewell of televison. That is why NBC hire her. She is a talented and gifted talk show host. In addition she a recording and concert artist, and outstanding actress, writer and producer. She is a devoted wife and mother to her children and husband. The body of Kathie Lee Gifford's work over the years speaks for it self. No one can compete with her accomplishments. They don't come any better than Kathie Lee Gifford.

She and Dinah Shore same category. KathyMee wants more though and she's never happy unless she's in the spotlight. Ask her family. Frank's mistake of making progeny with her has put him in hell.

I am very sorry Kathy Lee is on today show.She was alful on Regis show.Now that she is back,she is worse than ever.Puts her togue. in cheek and makes these faces.She is overbearing and in love with herself.I had no idea there were others that feel the same way.Please do something or your show will not be watched . Oh yes,the closed eyeshe does is the worst.Sorrybut she needs to go.

I LOVE HODA....and every time KL butts in and talks over her, insults guests, and insults Hoda, I want to shoot her! Hoda can never get a word in edgewise. I LOVE Hoda and the concept of the 4th hour, but Kathie Lee is really dragging the show down and makes me want to change the channel! How is it that she brings EVERY story back to KATHIE LEE????

Hoda, I love too. She was so compassionate with Fats Domino.
But Hoda is not a talk show leader. There would be too many silences and uh's with Hoda in the talk lead.
That is exactly what they hired KL for her mouth. And I love hearing it again.
I do agree she over does it some but who can ever hit a happy medium on anything?

It's all about Kathy Mee in her mind. If she finds someone who can take her career just one inch further, she'd dump her old geezer companion (after she takes her share) in a heartbeat. All she wants is to be in the movies, on stage. Come Spielberg, Lucas, Ang Lee, any director who feels like a flop, get her on board.

I think you are all being very hard on Kathie Lee. I like her; she has been villified for way too long. She is a lot of fun to watch. I do belive she does interrupt guests,and Hoda. She should keep quiet and allow her guests and co-host to talk, but she is who she is. I still love her. Hoda is great in every way and very personable. She is a great addition to the show. I disagree as far as Ann Curry is concered,I like Anne a lot. Anne is an accomplished serious journalist and an amazing interviewer but she comes across as very serious. The last hour of the Today Show is not about serious topics (for the most part). It is a fun show to de-stress and both Hoda and Kathie Lee accomplish this.

I will start by saying that I have known and respected Hoda since her days in New Orleans. She is a real pro and she has the talent to continue to grow and meet bigger challenges. The problem with the 4th hour of the Today Show lies solely with that idiot Kathie Lee. Everything that she spews from her mouth reeks of a want to be New York Elitist. Please....Please....Please get rid of Kathie Lee.

Last week Hoda, who's had a tough year, showed up with a new hair style and Kathie Lee goes, "oh well when I had my hair done like that it ruined my career." Shut up Kathie Lee! Seems like Hoda is constantly wondering if she should do damage control after everything Kathie Lee says. You can almost see the embarrassment and fear in her eyes. Poor gal having to put up with that mouth every morning.

I don't watch regularly, but I caught the show last Monday when Hoda had on a blouse that she didn't want to experience a "wardrobe malfunction" with. So annoying Kathie Lee takes it upon herself to constantly "adjust" this woman's top & take shots @ her for wearing it. I found myself talking to the set & saying Shut up & leave her alone!

you know, I think the "Regis and...." show does it to them. Kelly Rippa is exactly the same way!
Remember the Clay Aiken thing? What's the point of having a cohost if they"re going to do all the talking?

Kathy Lee is ruining the last hour of the program. She's rude and passive/agressive to Hoda and always trying to one up her. She's the most insecure personality I've seen on television. It's always about her and she tries to interject something about Frank or her kids whenever possible = appropriate or not.

And watching her with Kevin Costner this morning I realized that she even makes the guests feel uncomfortable. Since she's started, I only watch their hour if there's something of interest, but it's painful to sit through her nonsense and annoying comments. Are they directing the last hour to morons?
Please get her off the show now!

Thank you for this. I've sent a couple of emails off to Today@NBC.com and Today@msnbc.com. I'm kinda glad I missed the Costner segment. This shedevil is sooo oversexed that she deserves all the skank reviews she gets over the net.
What got me is how she thought she could banter with Buzz Aldrin as if she's his peer. What nerve? He's got more class than she could ever imagine or possess. She's disturbed.

I work nights and used to look forward to watching the today show when I arrived home from work. Today, I found myself saying outloud to myself "would someone please shut that woman up, shut up Kathy Lee, No one cares about you!" She is not anything to look at, her voice drives me crazy (not in a good way), and when she talks over Hoda it pisses me off. I am going to quit the show if they don't take her off! What are they thinking...she is a has been!

Marvin Sapp sang today. Where does she get off telling him he shouldn't have a MySpace page? What does that have to do with the 10 Commandments. I love the Today show, everyone is so professional but Kathy Lee with her constant habit of interrupting anyone who is talking is ruining the show!! I feel so sorry for Hoda. KL is always disclosing personal stuff about Hoda's life that maybe she doesn't want mentioned but Kathy Lee is so clueless and has no control over her mouth (or ego)that she just reveals other people's business without a care. I hate the way KL just talks non-stop, interrupts, she acts like she's the only host of the show and as if all the viewers can't live a minute without the sound of her voice. Please please please NBC, get her off the show!!

I think KLG is funny! I crack up watching the 4th hour. Hoda is sweet but not as sharp as Kathy. She knows when to reign Hoda back in when she babbles on too much. She needs to follow Kathy's lead.
