Next Model is a pathetic excuse for a TV show that appeals to an equally pathetic group of viewers.

Aw, lighten up. It's for a younger demographic. There may be pathetic moments in the show though. :-)

you know what i have watched pretty much ever season but this year is gonna be tough because of the transgender contestant i dont think its right and how dear the you people let this happen now i cant watch

Great article... I think there's nothing wrong with Isis being on the show. So far, she seems pretty respectable and a brave person who is going after what she wants. She's not disrespectful and is rather down to earth. As for unfair editing, I think Mr. Barker is correct -- as someone who has worked in the television production industry, what's on the camera is usually what's existent. Not 100% of the time but 90% certainly.

Canadian here... Watching ANTM (for fun as always) and reading this American dominated blog just re-iterates how far America has yet to come regarding hatred. Haters - be gone!! Those of you who accept one another for the person whithin - BRAVO!

Don't care. Transgender means: a person appearing or attempting to be a member of the opposite sex, as a transsexual or habitual cross-dresser. So, as far as I see this, men AND women should be able to go into this now as blended then. Get rid of the 'hey girls' and actually call it as it is and say 'America's Next Top MODEL' as you have been without the sexist twist if you are going to go gay!

This is another sign that morals in this country are gone! "If it feels good, do it." And people watch this show and others like it for the reality. Even HBO has sunk to that level with Generation Kill. Wanna see reality or know what its like in a Marine Recon unit, join the fhucken Corps!

Production may have given this show too much money that they can handle. All that tyrabot, alphajay and betajay is not necessary.It was too over the top. I liked that they had the voting theme for the first photo shoot though.

Seriously, this show is overflawed now - this isn't a model show more than it is Tyra pushing her social/political agenda on people. I'll admitt, the whole "Isis" ordeal is confusing because the issue itself is confusing...whatever, though, I'm just upset with the fact that Majorje (?) is the ONLY girl that looks like a model in this season (and she'll be cut soon, I know it). Everyone else looks either "California-safe", conventional, or uninspiring (except for that Asian girl, but she's not high fashion either). SOLUTION: make only one season per year (five years and already 11 seasons?!) which will give them time to save up money for better shoots, pick out girls that ACTUALLY look like potiential high fashion models, and leave the social agenda at the door...this is a model competition so stick to the photos themselves
