Design competition 'Project Runway' pins a winner
A soft-spoken designer from Portland, Ore., has the competition sewn up on Bravo's hit reality show 'Project Runway.'
A quartet of judges picked Leanne Marshall in the season finale that aired Wednesday night. Show mentor Tim Gunn served as a guest judge after Jennifer Lopez dropped out because of a foot injury.
Marshall showed a wave-inspired collection draped in large panels of white, cream and shades of turquoise.
She beat out Korto Momolu and Kenley Collins and won $100,000 to start her own line, among other prizes.

You get 5 GOLD STARS!!OMG what a beyotch Kenley turned out to be! I didn't think anybody could be more flesh crawlingly irritating than Christian last season. And she was a THIEF, she kept getting caught stealing from other designers, and then claiming "Oh, I never look at other designers or magazines" Pure BS lady, I guess Brett Farve doesnt read Sports Illustrated, and Prince doesn't read Rolling Stone, and Martha Stewart doesn't read... well, Martha Stewart magazine. Heidi and Michael were just too polite to call her out on it. Congrats Leanne, much success to you !!! |
