Im loving ghost hunters before that show i was a skeptic but i just finished the st augistine episode and the "ghostly soldier" one with the thermal camera image. I must say im a believer now and really wish i could find some haunted places around me so i could maybe have an experience for myself

My husband and I never miss this show. And I agree with Mandi, sometime they find something and sometimes they dont. Their main goal is to debunk. And a majority of the time thats what they do. Its the ones that they cant debunk that makes the show interesting. My family and I are making the St. Augustine lighthouse a part of our Fl. vacation this winter.

I like ghost hunters. They let you experience what they see. They don't use fake entertainment and therefore it is more realistic. I use to watch Most Haunted , but I was sick of just watching the actors expressions when they think they heard, felt or saw something rather than letting us see for ourselves. Most Haunted is for people that can't handle realistic shows because they need fake entertainment rather than true investigations.

Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State and A Haunting all rock.

Yes, Paranormal State got better with time, like their editing got better. Love Ghost Hunters best tho. A Haunting good too.

Last night's show sort of bored me. Maybe I'm not in a ghostly mood or something.

I'm getting the uncomfortable feeling that they (GH) have sold out for ratings. Now they just seem to go to places that will benefit from the press that will follow rather than investigating private homes and residences.

After awhile, places that need an influx of vistors/cash/reservations are just going to make up stuff to get The Ghost Hunters there and we'll get more hour-long shows where little happens.

I like best when GH goes to a private residence and finds activity. Second choice is of course the large, haunted spooky hotel setting.

Other than the crap they add themselves, the echo in that building is huge. You would have been to it to know.

What did you think of the 10/22 episode where they got an infrared signature of someone in the pool hall area? Other than the lighthouse (which is a GREAT episode*) I never saw or heard so much action so quickly. The clicking of the beads was really creepy.

*when did they capture the burst of light going from balcony to balcony in the lighthouse? Did they return to the same lighthouse again or do I have two episodes confused?

I love that they have taken the drama BS out of GH for the most part. Leave that for Survivor or whatever.

Every other show I've ever seen that claims to be legit is anything but that. GH is the ONLY show that seems to actually be trying to get at some kind of truthful evidence.

Although the constant product integration is getting annoying, and I wonder how much "activity" is guaranteed to be "caught". Hey SCI FI SALES DEPARTMENT...GIVE THE PRODUCERS A BREAK! Sell only the first half hour to a shill and let the team visit some more private homes!

I'm tired of what's-his-name jumping/pussing/mewling because there's a spider/something high to look over the edge of/an airplane/whatever.

Enough. No more teasers with shrieking and screaming and jumping for spiders, bugs, cobwebs, inanimate objects, other cast members playing pranks. No more sound effects added in post that didn't happen during the event. No more weird camera angle shots. Just shoot the dang thing straight on and let it unfold.

Hey gang, I'm new to this particular forum but I am a huge GH fan! I never miss an episode. I stand with Dark Island on the sound effects and camera angles. I hate the sound effects that totally distort/muffle the real sounds/evps. My favorite episodes are the Stanley Hotel, the Crescent and St Augustine.

St. Augustine is the best, I think. Stanley Hotel, too, although I missed the live show last Halloween. How was it?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the Halloween episode was the second time that they had visited the Stanley. They had that silly wrestler, CM Punk, with them. It was a fairly lame episode. I am really hoping that this years show will be a whole lot better.

The team was just in St Augustine again last week.. not sure when it will air, or even if it will air.

Does anyone else get the feeling that Jason and Grant seem to electrify a haunted location and Tango and Steve tend to bring it to a crashing halt? There simply isn't anything psychic about them whatsoever. And their cute little banter makes me annoyed.

They don't claim to have any psychic sense about them. Jason and Grant are the serious/straight guys most of the time. I enjoy the goofy banter between Steve and Tango. Steve is always getting the better of Tango. This is especially funny when it's a slow episode.
