As for the chemistry between David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel on Bones, that's something that can't be written into a script.

Very few actors have that special spark. While there is nothing going on romantically between David and Emily, they are great friends. They challenge each other as actors and they work very hard to keep that chemistry going.

When you see them in interviews together, they are very funny and sweet and seem to almost read each other's minds.

They do have a special connection as friends which adds so much to the show.

Poetic_line, they have to work hard to keep that chemistry going with an acting coach. So, that chemistry isn't as natural as everyone thinks. You shouldn't have to work hard to have chemistry with someone. David has never had to work on chemistry with his former female co-stars. It came naturally.

David and Emily's chemistry isn't anything new. There's hundreds of actors and actresses that work on screen together that have awesome chemistry. David Boreanaz has chemistry with every female he works with. So, I don't know why you seem to hold the chemistry between these two up on a pedestal. Have you seen David's previous work? I assume you haven't.
