Because CBS thinks that they know what they are doing, but they do not this time. I am very upset at this network, because not only have they chose to get rid of 2 other shows that I liked:Jericho, & Close To Home, but they have axed a fabulous vampire show that has a totally different angle than your cheesy Buffy, or Angel shows, and CBS has managed to kill off a bunch of other characters of my other shows I watched faithfully on their network. This latest season of finales was horrendous & they are obsessed with ratings, & shooting, killing, & yanking whomever off the cast list to gain viewers. I think I might be switching to another network. Hmmm, I kinda like the Bio channel, & Discovery Times.

I don't understand how this show could of been cancelled. Many people I spoke with watched this show. There are very few shows that I enjoy and the network keep cancelling them. I am very upset and am going to start watching only HBO and Showtime instead of these stations who keep taking shows off the air.

I'm sure HBO and SHOWTIME will love that! Watch the Alan Ball new show True Blood coming out beginning of September. They are really going all out to promote the new series. Something that CBS and other networks don't know how to do.

Sorry, for those that don't know, True Blood is a series about vampires based on Charlaine Harris novels. And I think that HBO et al will show CBS, NBC, etc how to treat and listen to their viewing fans!

you know if the networks care about ratings, how can over look the 8 million viewers on moonlight, and the peoples choice award. they need to start paying attention to what people want and not the ratings, you have tivo, dvr, and not every one sits down and watches when the shows are actually on. think about that nbc,abc and especially cbs.

I hope CBS falls in the toilet. Moonlight was a great show. I'm so sick of shows like CSI,Cold Caes, The Unit. We where loyal watcher Moonlight. I was one of voters on the peoples choice award. And my family was 7 of the 8 million viewers.Again I hope CBS go down the shitter!!!!!!!!!!

I think that all these cancelled shows, actors, etc have to do with the fact that this all happened after the writer's strike and now the actor's strike. I don't think that they want to pay these people what they're worth. It would cut into the ceo's and upper management's profits!

Hi, Iīm from Spain and I am writing to make a big protest on CBS. Moonlight was (is) a terific series and I am very upset for the cancellation. It has reached us in Sapin quite late (since shows always do), but I wasnīt expecting it. The series has a big audience here. Letīs hope they reconsider it?...Come on, Buffy lasted lots of seasons and ( in my opinion) wasnīt worth it!!!

I just am not ready to give up Mick St. John. At the end of the series, it was really going somewhere. HOW can they be so cruel & get them together, & they finally have that big moment between the two of them, as he storms back in the apt. to Beth & tells her exactly how it is meant to be??! Bastards!!!! They make me ill.

Remember it is all in the advertisers hands also. If they won't sponser our programs don't use their products. And tell everyone why you don't use them.

Hey Maggie, soooo right. Nice to see another Pittsburgher in here, too. How about them Steelers last night? Wish Mick had their staying power.

Hey!! They do have it on Sci-Fi, btw, w/reruns.@least it might be possible that they may once again spark that interest of picking up the show where it left off.
It came out on dvd, too, on the 20th, so get your copies, peeps.

Ah, the thread title was deceiving. Thought Moonlight was coming back! Such an awesome show. They were finally tweaking it for better viewing. Sure miss it!

Hey Viva!! Nice to see you. Has been ages.
Yeah, I know. It was misleading to me when I 1st saw it.
At least our guy Mick is on somewhere, regularly..and for those who can get reruns of The Shield, he's on there as well. I still got to get my dvd of Moonlight. I can't believe Best Buy only got ONE in on the day it was to be released. How retarded is that?!!!

Daily Horoscope for May 18

Aquarius

Watch out if you're going shopping, because you'll be tempted to splash out on impulse buys. This doesn't matter so much if you're feeling flush, but it could cause problems if you're supposed to be counting every penny. Whatever the state of your finances, you may buy items you don't need and possibly even won't like when you look at them again tomorrow.
