Doesn't Katzenberg realize that by introducing "Monsters vs Aliens" to a public largely ignorant of 3D, using an anaglyphic varient (still crappy nonetheless) he is instilling in their minds that THAT is what to expect when they see the film in a theatre. Most people have no clue as to stereoscopic principles and did not realize that Katzenberg was grasping at straws by clutching the Super Bowl's coat tails in order to get his message to the most people for the least cost. Greed was the real downfall of 3D in the fifties and it seems that history is trying to repeat itself. On top of that, most of those reporting on 3D are too lazy to do proper research and just keep repeating the misinformation they read that was written by other lazy reporters. I know of no good 3D movie of the fifties that was presented through red/blue pieces of cellophane. Every quality 3D feature was presented through polarized plastic lenses. Any headaches were induced by poor projection techniques and not by the glasses.

Criticize 3D if you must, but do it truthfully by getting your facts straight. In other words, get off your asses and do proper research.
