Happy Birthday,Jimbo(or since you're 25 years my senior,perhaps I should make that "Mr. Garner!!!)When I was a tiny wrangler,I watched you in "Maverick," then as an adult,enjoyed reading how you bucked the 50's-era TV system which nearly ruined your career.You were also GREAT as Jim Rockford in "The Rockford Files,' and "Man Of The People,"well,everyone's entitled to a stinkeroo!!!
Anyway,my buddy Jamie Logsdon's late father,LeRoy L.(Roy) Logsdon,was born in Pryor,Okla.-
he dide around Halloween 2010 at 87-and also like you,sir,he was part-Cherokee.(So there's good reason for six-four,300-lb. Jamie Logsdon and the five-eight,210-218-lb Yours Truly to have been best buds since 1980;you boys share a given name,and Oklahoma Cherokee birthplace/heritage.)
