Queen Latifah May Finally Be Coming Out

I always thought she was gave because when she first came out she was very hard core to be a woman rapper. She was always dressed like a boy until she started hosting the award shows. Plus you never ever heard her talk about or been seen in public with a man. The only man I have ever heard her really talk about was her brother when he got killed on that motorcycle but other than that think about it you have never seen her in public or heard her dating a man.

she is a beautiful, strong, gifted black woman and I admire her. The media continues to spiculate about this beautiful woman but guess what, her acting and singing ability is what I care about and she is a cut above the rest.

I am praying for Queen Latifa Because, GOD never meant for a Queen to be with another Queen. Obviously she has not found her King Because, if she had there wouldn't be nothing another Queen could do for her. I really feel sorry for her. If she could have a loving relationship that GOD designed for a Husband and Wife, she would never make the choice she has made. I hope it is not true, if so it is someone else who believes the lie and not the truth that is found only in Jesus Christ our Savior through grace. My prayer is that all will come into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through His redemptive work of the cross.

I find myself wondering how she would look,
if she were to drop 100 pounds.

I would buy tickets to see THAT.

Slim Fast, Weight Watchers, or whatever!!!
Make her an offer that she can not refuse.

She would be too beautiful to behold.

what does this have to do with anything? I am not interested in seeing this person naked. I think when one promotes pictures of their naked bodies they defile God's purpose for who they were meant to be. I think it is sad that people have to use their bodies to get attention and not their intellect.

Some of the comments above are the very reason that Queen Latifah refuses to divulge her sexual orientation. She has much more to think about in making a decision to "come out," in terms of how it would affect her family, her career and the financial impact. She seems to be very devoted to her family and said something to the effect that she would not want to hurt her nieces and nephews. I understand that thoroughly. I waited a long time before coming out because I worried about how it would affect my children. People are so damn cruel and I did not want any ignorant parents of their friends to treat them differently and/or not allow their children to play with them or hang out at our house as they always did.

I have to admit that I am blessed in that regard. Both my kids' friends and their parents accepted and respected me for the person I am. My children are grown now I have great relationships with their friends and their parents. That is not the case with everyone. With someone in the limelight I am sure it is a much more difficult choice, particularly for a successful black woman because no matter how far we've come, homosexuality is just not accepted or tolerated well in black communities, especially within the black church - a huge part of many black people's lives and traditions, which unfortunately includes being quite selective about which bible passages they choose to quote or believe in. They just love Leviticus for railing against homosexuality but then sit down and eat pork, catfish or have sex during "unclean" times, etc - among other things you're not supposed to do according to Leviticus. Last time I looked God said only He can judge, not every Tom, Dick, Harry, James, Dante, Laquisha or Jamilla in this forum.

The comment about "feeling sorry for her" because she hasn't found her "King" was among the most ludicrous. She doesn't have a man so somehow she's lacking? How crazy is that? She sure in the hell doesn't seem to be letting the lack of a man stop her from being successful. I pity women who feel they must have a man to be whole. Nothing wrong with loving a man (or another woman) but NEEDING one to be happy and fulfilled? Happiness comes from within not from another person.

Latifah is at the top of her game - movies, music, commercials. When Barbara Walters interviews you, you know you've made it. And people say they "feel sorry for her..." That is a wasted feeling because I'm sure she could care less what any of us think, and why should she?

Queen Latifah simply does not have the same luxury as successfuly white women like Ellen de Generes or Rosie O'Donnell when it comes to living her life in the open because her black fan base just would not be accepting, which in turn would probably negatively affect her career. As long as it remains a rumor it's fine, but as soon as it were to become a reality....well, just look at some of these posts Why does someone's sexual preference, especially a celebrity, have anything to do with you unless you think you might want to sleep with her? She doesn't sleep with you now does she, and probably never would anyway? You have no kind of personal relationship with her now do you? What the HELL difference does her sexuality make?

I absolutely respect and admire her talent and who she seems to be as a person, from what I've read, and I've seen in various interviews. She has brought many a laugh to me through her movies, and I've enjoyed her voice, her smile and beauty. As a fan who has spent money on her movies and her music that is ALL she owes me - my money's worth and I've gotten that and more. As a sane and thinking person, I realize I have no business worrying about or making judgements about her or her personal life. It simply doesn't involve me. I just hope that she's happy and fulfilled, no matter whom she chooses to share her life with.

I enjoy watching Queen's movies and I enjoying watchen Ellen...I don't agree with their lifestyle choices. I am a Christian and I am sure you are familiar with my faith, however, I don't judge or wish ill thought onto anyone who lives an alternative lifestyle...I just don't agree with that choice...to say otherwise WOULD make me a hypocrit. I think that Queen is wonderful, However I don't agree with her personal life, but I do have to say keep your head despite the haters out there that will be hating on you.
