'Oprah' signs off, but viewers won't forget how she's affected them

Oprah and her counter-parts are partly what's wrong with this country. Why should a 'talk show host" make millions of dollars while a plumber or even a doctor makes nil compared to her salary. When Oprah goes off the air, what effect will that have on your life. NONE! If your doctor or your plumber decides to quit working and all doctors and plumbers decide to quit working, what effect would that have on your life. Think about it.

Oprah has to be the most full of herself entertainer in the world. She starts a network named for her, she starts a magazine named for her and if that isnt enough she puts herself on every cover, I guess she just cant look at herself enough.

Good riddance to bad rubbish!! She should have been off TV 10 years ago, after she claimed she was quitting.

Sounds like a bunch of jealous people commenting on Oprah! She has done wonderful things for so many people in almost every capacity. But look at it this way: your jealousy will not change a thing, so try to stop that thought and do something nice for yourself and for someone else. I think its funny how so many women to parenting and marriage advice from someone who's never lived in those shoes. That's why she was soooooo big because some women can't think for themselves

I dont really think jealous would be the word I would choose, You may choose to worship oooofrah but I think I will not. Oh and suprise suprise she is on the cover again.

It seems to me she should be held accountable for the mess in Washington .I wonder if she has any regrets over her support for Obumma

NOT jealous, NOT a hater.. i was never caught up in her 'hype'.. i'm glad she's been successful, glad she's reached back to help others..

BUT there ARE those who do that everyday, without the fanfare.. and with nowhere near the cash she has..

does that make them less effective? less loved/revered?
