Vincent D'Onofrio on "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" Demotion

Hi all I am just getting beter My meds were out and this got me inot a spin it has taken a few days to feel better now How is the family Jackullen and Lyn any strikles yet? DLB

why do you have to belittle him for his weight and meds. it sounds like the tabloids talking about britney. who cares? he is a beautiful man and a wonderful actor.

Does anyone know why Vincent was "demoted". Why isn't he in every episode of CI? I was guessing that it was a health thing...but that didn't make any sense. I wish the show was just with him. I think he's an incredible actor.

Not sure if someone ask this already. But on this past Sundays new CI episode on USA, the character of the suspended cop that Goren hooks up with and eventually has to rat on, was that supposed to be the same character that went to the drug squad from SVU?

Hello I see we have new names hurray for this I think the new shows brought on more interest after a short rest. So I ned to catch up with it all I have been so busy and got laid up with gallbladder problems. sheesh I even missed soem of the new shows I taped them but the DVR missed soem of them?? So I am getting to see them now

OH Catherien you have to see the show the ended the last season he went into an asylum to seek out his nephew it was really good and put him into an actors dream of delivery of self. My dad was involved with actors singers and musciaans and such . The roles demand a lot of ones time and effort My respect for this mans ability to be an actors actor and his weight has nothing to so with his ability weight is an issue so many of us have these days we are the fattest nation on the planet . My neds made me gain weight and it takes lots of effort to get it down so I understand how this can happen to anyone if weight is how we judeg a person ability then we are in big trouble. pd weight does not make his eyes any les beautiful nor him any less speacil as an actor

I don't like speculating on whether or not someone takes meds--I have fibro and do take meds that make keeping wt off hard. And so what if he does take meds? That's his business.

I watched Law & Order CI for the first couple of years, then stopped because I felt the Bobby character was becoming one note even though I admire Vincent as an actor. A couple of years ago I heard he was suffering from exhaustion, and they brought the Mike Logan character back, which was nice. Now I've seen the new episodes with Vincent and love his look. He now looks like a man with life experiences, and it makes the character of Bobby much more interesting. I don't think he should change a thing. He's suffering from nothing more than what the rest of the country is suffering from, the ups and downs of life. I'm now watching on a more regular basis because the character of Bobby has gained some humility. So Vincent's gained some weight, big deal. He looks hot just the way he is.

Hi, I love VDO too. I am an aussie fan and hope you will welcome me into your chat group. I just worship the ground he walks on. I have even bought movies just cause he was in them even for the briefest time. In response to his weight gain, i read that he was doing a play where he played the role of Orson Welles and to play the part right, as he did in full metal jacket, he deliberately gained the wieght.He did bear a striking resemblance to orson welles when they both were young. He was doing the play in the evening and taping all day for CI. He ended up collapsing twice and thats why they brought Noff in to share some of the load.I guess as a consequence and because of age he just cant loose the weight so easily.

I completely agree with you.....the non-violence and the crime pretty much ready for investigation. The other crime shows with all the fake stuff is not watchable.
I prefer the intrigue developed in the Law and Order shows. You have to think!
