Supernatural is the best show on tv. It's doing well in the ratings considering what it's up against. It so deserves a 3rd season & many more.

I agree with everything written so far. I am a single mother who watches Supernatural with my teenage daughters every week. I work seven days a week in two different jobs. I don't watch much television. I try, but there hasn't been anything out there since X-files that has grabbed me until now. I never miss an episode and when I travel out of town and am stuck in a motel room, the first thing I do, if I'm there on Thursdays, is search for the CW channel. Not everyone gets the CW. If Supernatural were to be picked up by another, more known network, this would be a run away hit. The uniqueness of this show is worth saving. I encourage anyone who has not yet taken the opportunity to watch to give it a try. Watch a few episodes and decide for yourself. Here's to hoping Supernatural continues a run of many seasons to come.

Supernatural is one of the best shows on tv and I'm glad that you guys mentioned them. It's well-written, the acting is beyong superb, and every aspect of the show is great. It really deserves a third season and it's a shame if they get judged based on their ratings, bec they are up against the heavy-hitters on their timeslot. They better renew Supernatural, or I'm boycotting every show on the CW!

It really is a shame that Supernatural is struggling with ratings. It is truely the best show available on TV! It's such a refreshing show when television is so clogged with numerous medical dramas, crime shows and reality shows. Supernatural is the only show on TV that I refuse to miss, I'll actually rearrange my schedule if I have to. Thursday have become the best day of the week. The writing, acting and directing are pure genius! Supernatural MUST have a 3rd season. It just keeps getting better and better!

It is a shame that a quality show like Supernatural that contains excellent scripts, exceptional acting from both leads and is also so unique to the routine tv fare that we are forced to ingest or turn off the televisio, isn't more viewed. The fault I think lies in the absence of advertisement as well as the killer hour it's in. Hopefully the CW will keep this gem and allow us hardcore fans a few more years of enjoyment.

Marty White wrote: If you happen to see "Supernatural" for the first time, be warned. The bright colors, flashy sets, thrilling special effects, scintillating dialogue, hot sex, and larger-than-life heroes of other television shows aren't to be found here. The colors of "Supernatural" range from murky yellow to olive drab to dark grey under a sky so grim you might find yourself grabbing for the remote to brighten things up. Far from flashy, the sets and locations are the height of humdrum: desolate roads, muddy fields, dripping woods, boring towns, cheap diners, and motel rooms so ludicrously cheesy the mention of "maid service" in a recent episode evoked peals of laughter in my family room. As for the special effects. Well, use your imagination. For the most part, you won't have any choice. Then, there's the dialogue. Forget about those bons mots, witty exchanges, probing insights, and grandiose speeches you hear on other series. The characters of "Supernatural" sound suspiciously like real people, not scriptwriters. I recall there was some hot sex on "Supernatural," though. Once. It didn't last long because the older brother had to hunt down a phantom truck that was making mincemeat of drivers. So if steamy locker room scenes are what you'll have to go elsewhere. In "Supernatural," the focus is always on the job of saving lives. Of course, the show has plenty of romance--though not of the usual kind. The romance of "Supernatural" has its roots in ancient and medieval tales of warriors and knights who set out on a long and lonely quest to rescue others by defeating evil in the world. Here, the horse is a creaky '67 Impala, the trackless wastes are the backroads of middle America (resembling Vancouver), and the sword or javelin has been replaced by a trunk full of holy water, rock salt, consecrated rounds, and other weapons against evil entities. But, as in those early romances, "Supernatural" is always based on oral legends, lore, and myths--the kinds of tales told around fires for as long as humanity's feared the darkness. And the heroes? They're of the ancient variety, as well. True, the younger brother has a little ESP working now and then, but don't expect to see any comic book feats from these guys. The heroism of the Winchesters is simple and familiar. It has its source in pain, struggle, defeat, anger, doubt, determination, faith, love, and immense self-sacrifice--in other words, in all those things that can and often do turn ordinary people into heroes worthy of the name. So, if you happen to stumble across "Supernatural," keep in mind you're seeing something different from every other show on television. It's poor; it's cheesy; it's absolutely brilliant. It's also totally addictive. So, remember: you've been warned. Very well said. You've described it perfectly and also descrbed why us die-hard fans love it so much. It's dark, edgy and totally addictive.

Supernatural is the hit show on our floor of the girls dorm. Every Thursday night my dormroom is full of anywhere from 10-20 girls all watching this show...as well as Smallvile before hand. We all are praying that it will have many more seasons to come!!!

Supernatural is a great show. The actors are good, the storyline is intense and the family aspect of the show is really nice. Not to mention the weekly horror. I'd be shocked if there isn't a third season!
Another season of Bones would be great too.

A lot of responses for Supernatural staying on air and it isn't much of a surprise. While a lot of the television shows we have now that are popular center around Reality, Medical, or Crime: Supernatural gives us a breath of fresh air due to a mini horror movie each week! It's got the attention of past Dark Angel, Buffy, and Angel fans. We're really looking forward to more. And also, don't be shy guys: this isn't just a show for ladies. Pleanty of nasty monsters to keep you intrigued! It isn't just about monsters: there is comedy and angst that really completes the final project! Jenn R. Felton, MN

I think it's unfortunate that Supernatural is being put against CSI AND Grey's Anatomy. They moved it from a good time slot behind Smallville to s time slot where it's being set up to fail. This is one of those GREAT shows no one is watching because of the competition. Get rid of all the stupid "reality" shows and keep good shows like Supernatural around.

I love Supernatural. It is raw and creepy and I love it!! With all these other sitcoms and soapy shows on now; it is so freshing to watch a show that has me screaming, crying and laughing all in one episode. Supernatural has such a following now that if it was removed from the CW channel that it would be picked up from the Sci-Fi channel and have the same viewers plus more. Don't be stupid CW!!

SHOW THE SUPPORT TO SUPERNATURAL.
AND IT HAS ALL 3 THINGS LIKE skincey SAID LAUGHTER.CRYING AND SCREAMING ALL IN ONE EP. UNLIKE OTHER SHOWS THAT HAS ONLY 1 AND SOME SOAPY SHOWS LIKE D.O.O.L AND B.A.B SUCK. THEY DIE AND COME BACK ITS NOT REAL. AT LEAST SUPERNATURAL HAS SUPERNATURAL THAT MEANS ITS NOT REAL? AND THE BROTHERLY LOVE. SAVING PEOPLE WE NEED MORE OF SUPERNATURAL TYPE SHOWS ON OUR TV.
