The Democratic Convention was wonderful. I watched every day on C-Span, Dish Convention coverage and MSNBC. I enjoyed every minute. It was so inspiring and joyful. I am so proud to be a Democrat and someone who has supported Senator Obama for President from the start. We need this intelligent and courageous man to lead us out of the horror of the Bush years. McCain is just more of the same and possibly worse if that is possible. He has shown a serious lack of judgment with his vice-presidential pick. Since McCain is 72 years old and could drop dead of old age at any time he needed to pick someone well qualified to take his place, and he did not.
