Poll :: Ellen dethrones Oprah
Gay, dog-loving US comedian Ellen DeGeneres has dethroned chat-show icon and new political activist Oprah Winfrey as the television personality Americans love the most, a poll showed Tuesday.

Reason I like Ellen more than Oprah? Ellen doesn't act stupid. Oprah once spent an entire episode interviewing four intersexed people and asked them at least a dozen times what the difference was between homosexual, transgendered, and intersex. I can understand trying to get the viewer to understand, but don't act like a moron.

Ellen is easier to identify with, maybe? More down-to-earth. Oprah seems... well... almost snobbish I think. Or maybe thats just a perception one gets because she is so powerful.

I love the "Ellen' show. Shes the best talk queen ever and her dance....love it too!

Well, I don't care about their appearance. Both wield a lot of power and influence, and Oprah does some wonderful things to help others. But really, who would you feel more comfortable inviting over for coffee?

They only polled 1200 people and I'm sure they were all carpet HAHA. Give me a break. Or should I say cry me a river.
