You know I get tired of "so called critics" and thier preconceived notions about Keanu and his movies. Can these people get over "Ted"> My god Keanu said Whoa in what two of his 35+ movies and people think that word defines him. Get over yourselves people. Keanu by all who have worked and met him say he is very intellegent. Probablly more so than the writer of this piece of **ap review. Here's a hint-If the critic mentions Keanu's intellect or the word "whoa" render the critic impetent. Credibility is nill.

Very well said Truthfinder. I agree. If I start reading something about Reeves, and I can see that the direction is negative, I stop. I can't handle the ignorance.

Ok folks. I finally saw Street Kings last night.

Ummmmm..........didn't really like it. Now Keanu's acting was ok, but I know what people meant about there not being any character to really like. I understand what they meant about Forest Whittaker's acting being "over the top". A lot of the lines were too quiet, so I'm sure I missed something, but.......I really didn't get it. Dirty cops lead by a dirty leader kill another dirty cop who is hated by yet ANOTHER dirty cop (Keanu's character). And behind all of this is a dirty chief (House) who was trying to take down the dirty leader. Did I get that right? I don't even know the names of the characters besides Washington, Ludlow, and Biggs.

There was so much back-stabbing going on that I kinda lost track.

Could've been the cosmo (& wine), but somehow I doubt it.

Definitely not one I'll rent again NOR own.

Here's hoping TDTESS turns out much better.

Rocky-I loved this movie but my husband and I both agreed there was something wrong with it. I said it had to be the editing of this film. It just seemed jumpy to me. So when I bought the 2 disc set and watched the deleted scenes and the alternate scenes that verified what I thought. A lot of those scenes should have been in the movie. We all have our own opinions and I like shoot em up movies. So I loved this one-Keanu was fantastic-but it could have been so much better with better editing and directing by Ayer for that matter. I too hope TDTESS is better. That one has alot of haters already because it is a remake so its gonna have to be out of this world so to speak to win them over.!!! But I have faith in Kee- I just hope the Director and Editor will do their jobs.

I agree with you both on alot of what you said. The editing to me could have been better. I to also felt that there were several scenes that had been cut that should have been used intsead of what they did use. It bounced around from one to another and if you left the room without pause'n, you'll be lost in catching up.

Unfornately, we have corruption within our law forces. His goal was to prove his innocence.
I also felt as if his acting wasn't quite up to par as it has been in other movies. But didn't he go through some personal problems during the filming or right before it started??? If so, that could have affected it. You know, I wasn't even going to comment on it, but I'm glad you all started it... I too hope TDTESS will be better, cause I really was a little disappointed!!! It just didn't major up to what I was expecting, and maybe I really shouldn't look at it that way.

You know I am not computer literate and I did not register-I like to just lirk -so am I missing something overthere? How do you know who is typing what??

You don't know who's who that's for sure. It I would have been in there I'd been their discussion thats for sure. I got me some enemies in there they say, yet, some seem like friends. They talk about Keanu's life as if they know him better than he does... It's a trip in there. If you ever post, make sure you don't put your email down cause it'll show in the room ok??? They talk about everyone and everything... Lots of Keanu and some girl that no one even knows for sure if it's even true... The religion is something too. I laugh I alot....... To me it's like there is 2 or 4 during the day and 2 or 4 during the night. Some guy named dan was take'n up for me though, claims he knows me??? I questioned him for a few answers to see if it's the guy I met at wwf or not??? but don't know yet. It's not like here, that's for sure truth. They question everyone little thing anyone says, twist it around and tries to put words into one's mouth that they might not even had said. Or at least that's what they'd done with me... Nah, you're not miss'n anything as I can see...

truth, there over there now talk'n about me again. I had to put my two cents in though, and I told them go ahead and talk about me if you must, I find it all amusing...

they act like they know Kee better than Kee himself knows himself!!! they act like they know who he's dated, where's he's been better than anyone, and heck, they don't even know him and chances are they haven't even met him. Some people are just so unreal!!! Know what I mean???
they even think that because he has dyslectia that he couldn't read when he was a child???

I here ya Dee-Dyslexia doesn't mean you can't read-it means you have to retrain your brain to correct the reversals. Both Kee and Kim went thru that training. and now he reads and reads and reads and reads. In fact some of the books he said he read are not something I would read. He seems to like Bio's and really deep stuff. Thanks for the info on ugossip. I like it here. Easier to see who is who -more personal. more friendlier.

I just read in there and the poster who's spread'n the lies on me is at it again call'n me a fame seeker, as if, heck, I don't even like camera's... Then stated that I said he's wanted me ever since he was 9... This is the person I'm after, she's the one writing the lies and telling them. Heck, day before yesterday, she tooks parts from 2 different sentences and combine them as if they were one from me, and they were about two different guys!!! I'm not the one stating the lies, and I'm just about fed up with it... I wrote to the Attorney General and they said this is a form of cyber bullying, and the lies is defamation of character. I was told to copy everything they say about me. My pc can prove what I've written and when!!! This person had said that I'm threatening people cause I said I was go'n to take this person to court!!! And get this, cause I went to two dogstar concerts, I'm not a stalker!!! Can you believe that, I wasn't suppose to go and see my friend in his band... Well, I'm gathering the proof, and they aren't gonna like the outcome. I've also gathered things against Kee that's been said even on here. They claim the site has been deleted that all that was said on and I had first posted on and it's not!!! They some really messed up individuals in there, that's for sure. Some in there are really sweet, and it's a shame that this one person has to lie and lie and convince others that she's the good perosn and the good or bad!!! I call it down right jealously!!!

Anyway-They do seem to pick on people that say they know Kee- That c9 person-I remember what she said about seeing him in concert and he was looking at her and she didn't realize it. That person is someone who comes here. And so what-that probably did happen. I don't see why they get on her unless she said she is the "one" he is looking for. In which case I doubt that. He seems settled to me-tense-but settled. I don't think he is "looking" for someone particular. Just "looking" . You know what I mean????

And, I had already told the person I wasn't mad yet I was told that I was!!! I told them I was LMAO over this!!! But no matter what, my word is just no good to them!!!

It's ok for them to reprint the lies and chat about me, but it's not ok for me to defend myself... Some people are just not right in the mind!!!
