Panettiere Amanda Knox film slammed

If Hayden Panettiere can't figure out that Amber Knox is innocent, then maybe she's dumber than the cheerleader she plays on TV. What a sorry case of exploitation to further her career. Knox was convicted in the British and Italian tabloids. Europeans, especially the British and Italians, are the first to throw stones and have no insight into their own bigotry.

The movie was reasonably objective, but did show some of the prosecution's issues with her story.

They did show a special afterwords, which included interviews with her paid consultants, friends, and family members who are all convinced of her innocence, along with a few snippets of the prosecution (in italian) and a journalist following the story.

Hayden Panettiere did a nice job portraying Amanda, but it's difficult to hide the fact that Hayden is stunningly beautiful. She was a nice casting decision.
