I can safely say that this time I am very disappointed with Food Network and "The Next Iron Chef". I have faithfully watched each weeek as your judges,(OHHHHH, Great, it's Alton Brown, too),and apparently the network axe away at good competitors, leaving us with Appleman (the liar) or Freitag (one of your own) as the obivious choice for us in TV Land to accept. The last two weeks I have tried to make myself not watch, but to no avail. I just have to see, if you think we are as dumb as you think.

I couldn't believe they kept Garces and Mullin and got rid of Trevino and Appleman? I was shocked. It's been Chef Mehta's contest to lose since the begining. He took Morimoto to the wire when they went head a to head last year. Unless Mehta really f***** up, he will win. Chef Symon has been an embarrasment. Even got beat at KS by the guy he knocked off to win the NIC title.

I realize it is a competition, but I don't think they should be allowed to take all of an item (Appleman and Mehta) just to be able to keep someone else from using it. Appleman definitely showed he is not a person of integrity as he admitted to lying more than once in telling his little "stories." It also shouldn't be a matter of who is stronger and can wrench an ingredient out of the hands of another chef. And why don't they all get a stove, especially when cooking multiple courses? Let's fight fair! Otherwise, how do we know the best chef won?

It was so great to see a liar like Appleman go. I couldn't believe that they let him get away with taking all the fish. Appleman has zero integrity and sportsmanship and my wife and I just cheered and cheered when the judges threw the loser out. I wouldn't eat in a restaurant run my a man like that if they paid me. There are too many great restaurants run by good people to support a loser like Appleman. Boycott liars!
