Nashville Star is one of the only TV shows I watch. Most shows these days are barely worth watching. I am very excited to see it every week it is on. Bring on the Country!!

I cant stand to watch american idol, but i love nashville star. Everyone is so hard on john rich, but 95% of the time he is right. I totally agree about coffeey, i think he is awful, and i am not so sure about how he made it this far, i think that he gets the sympathy votes

John Rich works on my last nerve. He *really* believes he's that big (not!). In a few years, he'll be a memory that can't be remembered.

I want melissa to win, i think that she is a great singer, and a good role model for girls, that you dont have to be a size 2 to get anywhere in life

personaly, i find it odd how the show for up and coming COUNTRY artists are judged by a crossover (not country) artist, and two not very country, "country" artists. If they really want a true country feel, lets get The Possum, George Strait, and maybe Willie Nelson too. not the current posers.

Ya I would agree that Nashville Star succeeded in having a more friendly down home feel than Idol. The format has been different too in that the judges actually mentored, helped, dare we say, coddled the talent.
And yes the judges not being country performers is a little weird, but then again it's Nashville Star, not Texas Star...
