i dont know why the "hispanic race" relates to the show so easily. As a fellow chicano, i feel the show has been completely "white-washed". Judging from his comdey, the show has nothing to do with his comedy at all,in his comedy CHICANOS can relate to, not some white washed ABC show...dont get me wrong, i watched it, but it didnt show how "we are, how our families are". ABC, sugar-coated the show to much to make it seem of a mexican-white-rich family....and to blame race as a factor...i know we chicanos have gone through alot but i hate it when people use "racism" as a scapegoat....dont blame everything on race...sometimes we need to realize, if we suck then we suck, not because were brown....i know the struggle weve/are going through right now...but dont use that as an excuse for everything. i personally would watch his show if it was on HBO, and actually did skits relating to his comedy more, cause it seems more real...

Don't call us brown, we aren't turds, and not all Mexicans look brown.
