Makes me ashamed I graduated from the same high school as he did. Pay attention kids... you can be a broadcaster in Cleveland without basic knowledge of grammar, pronunciation, and usage. Just follow Wayne Dawson's example.

He is probably the worst news reader on television, period. In a market like Cleveland where it is hard to recruit top level talent (especially for morning broadcast), a buffoon like Dawson can survive. FOX8's Wayne Dawson is the epitome of incompetency in broadcasting. Unwitty and lacking even the basic grammar and usage skills, he survives. Glad to see there is some clear and honest criticism of the buffoon on Fox 8. His on-air presence is riddled with mispronumciations, lame humor, and a dumbfounded teleprompter glare. When you see him in public he is a womanizing, ebonics spewing moron.

How come I was never popular at St. Raphael in Bay Village? People said I looked like Danny Partridge and picked my nose. I tried to listen to M-105 and be cool with the girls. But I never succeeded.

Wow, this guy is a creep. Just saw him today on the air talking about how "buff" co-anchor Kristi Capel and weathergirl Angelica Campos were. Things got even creepieer when this 60-year old perv mentions he looks at Kristi Capel pictures on-line when she was Miss Missouri. He is really creepy!!!!

FOX 8's best week ever. No Wayne Dawson. The show is just alot easier to watch without that idiot slurring his r's and trying to be 40 years younger than the 60 years old that he is. Keep the moron on assignment somewhere where we don't have to watch his pathetic personality. Great morning show once the idiot Dawson is off the air!!!

All i have to say is why is everyone so worried or stuck on What Wayne Dawson is doing with his life! If you don't like what he is wearing don't watch channel 8 news i think thats a dumb reason to stop watching it but oh well.Nobody is forcing you to watch the news but to sit there and them try to nitpick what his eyebrows look like or his type of clothing is the dumbest stuff i have ever heard!

I think people watch the 8 news because it is a well run newscast in the morning. The fact that they have the most ignorant dimbulb in the industry reading a teleprompter makes it kind of like waiting for a drunk man to fall down. Today he said that Fox 8 needs an african american weather man. What an idiot. Management there is just one click above his level of stupidity!
