What does "Linda Hogan" and her (drinking? and another) problems (listed under Dog the Bounty Hunter NEWS) have anything to do with our "Dog the Bounty Hunter" and how GREAT his show is and has come back to Wednesday nights?
And who is this "Beth Smith" Reality TV "STAR?"
Aren't they "off" the subject just a little?

The story was about how bail on the weekends were not available because the courts were closed on weekends.

Michael, I have talked to Beth alot over the past year and she does have her days. She is very hard to get along with. Then there are days when she is a real sweetheart. I suppose that maybe they are working/filming and family and she just gets really tired. Sorry that happened to you

Meme, thank you. Yes I know her, I mean we never hung out or anything. Just did some stuff for her.She is very abrasive make no mistake but there have been times when she was just like a normal person. Not often but.....

Usually when someone is that abraisive it spills over into their personal relationships with family ect. I have also met many who have done stuff for her on a non-professional level (of course - favors, etc.) and were stung by her later when she no longer could use them...I am not implying this is the case with you... Some people say she was the nicest person and some say she was mean to them. It may be a reality show but it gets edited so i am sure you'll never truly know how she is unless you are around her alot. Who knows, I try to just think the best of someone until they treat me badly. Maybe i am naive when it comes to Beth, but i wish i could be more assertive, and ask for what I want sometimes. But i would like to do it without hurting people in the process.

no, i would like to meet Beth, but don't think that would happen. I would like to know what kind of person she really is when she in not on the show. But like i said, i try to think the best of people until i see otherwise.

I agree. Unfortunately, after much research I have found some disturbing things. Much I have double checked and cross-referenced - I could only imagine if one tries to approach her husband first without getting her approval - ouch

It's one thing to be protecting and guarding - but another to be controlling....

i know her personally and she is mean and foul mouthed. she uses everyone and when time to pay up she does not do that.

It amazes me that if she is truly like this that it is not talked about more or written about. Is she descreet about it. Doesn't seem like that is possible with that type of personality. How does everyone who is involved in the show or fans of the show overlook her and still continue with the show? What does that say about Dog and the family if they put up with it? I have seen so many couples in reality shows end their relationships when the show is over. I wonder if this will happen? I think the thing that bothers me the most is the religious aspect. I am not very religious but i do believe in God. I don't pray as much as the Chapmans seem to do on their show but it upsets me that if she is this way with people than her praying and talking about God is being a hipocrat. Just my opinion.

I have to admit without Beth - Dog would not be where he is. I do think she is the true brains behind everything. However, remember, Beth kind of got him by default - did he simply marry her after so many years because she hung in there and was able to deal with his infidelities. By all accounts he has cheated on every wife. He cheated on his third and fourth wife with Beth. That is a lot to deal with especially when he continued to marry the fourth one well after his affair with Beht began. A part of me feels sorry for her as I believe she does care for him but feels she must "control" to keep an "eye" on him.
I have struggled with my own beliefs as i am a Born-Again Christian. I believe Duane has changed, but how come his love didn't many years ago and perhaps still...I am interested to hear your thoughts as you both seem logical and analytical...

How is Beth and Duane's Marriage? Did any of my comments seems plausible? My hunch is you are someone close to the scene, however, as always I respect people's privacy. Tell us some of your insights in a way that it would not give way to your identity or relationship to them...

I have to respectfully disagree with you, meme, about Duane not being where he is today without Beth. She is NOT the true brains behind Duane even though she would like everyone to think so.

Duane is famous today because of his incredible charisma and because Tony Robbins got him started. Then Boris Krutonog, Duane's agent, friend, and DTBH producer took over for Tony and got the show going for Duane. Beth was simply along for the ride and taking credit where none was due her.

It was Duane himself, Tony, and then Boris who made Dog who he is today. Now unfortunately Boris is gone because of Beth's temper tantrums.

I find it sad how many women out there want to believe that strength in a woman is equated with how hard you can brow beat a man you claim to love. Makes no sense. Love is not about conquering or owning someone. I find it sad that there are ANY women who are desperate enough to consider Beth a role model.

As for your question about Beth and Duane's marriage, look at any current picture of them together. One look at Dog's tired, depressed face will tell you everything you need to know. The man is terribly unhappy.

Someone who knows is very correct. I have done things for Beth and when she got what she needed you were kinda dumped and not treated very nice when you just tried to stay in touch with her. It just doesn't pays to be loyal to her. I am not perfect in anyway but would never treat people like that.I am wondering what she has on Duane where he won't walk away, he would still have a show if she wasn't there. Don't you agree. He does look tired and depressed, I saw a video of them at LAX after the last drama they went through, Duane was smart and didn't talk to any one and the boys didn't either but Beth was still doing what she does. I feel sorry for anyone in her family its just to hard to keep her happy.

Oh and don't ever try to tell her what we nobody's see on the other side of the window, she won't listen and you are an automatic stalker.

I respectfully stand corrected. Your insight is true. I should have said Beth is more into the money than Duane - however, I am sure he enjoys it. Many of their current pictures and snapshots seemed to be more of a staging of affection rather than true, at the moment,affection. I am also observing a lot of editing this season and more staged clips which makes me think there is stress on the set with Beth.

People have contacted me over recent months for consoling after they were "cut off' from Beth. They have done favors such as spy on family members, etc. This was really hard for me to believe that a women of her supposed values would do this. This is where I began to wonder.

Remember, I don't know the Chapman's personally and have never communicated with them. These are things I have pieced together myself and from others and am seeking insights from others as I have struggled to really understand if these people are who they say they are...I read a lot, but this is the forst time I have posted on anything...
