'CSI: NY': Gary Sinise, Sela Ward and company take Manhattan -- for real

If a series has New York in its title, it's a good idea for it to film there. Like all of the shows in the franchise, "CSI: NY" has its production base in Los Angeles, but its stars and crew make an annual trip east to shoot footage for several episodes.

montekat Newport News, VA	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #1 Oct 21, 2010 Judged: 1 1 1 It sounds all nice and friendly, but the character Sela Ward plays is very obnoxious and isn't being well received by viewers. Gary Sinise is great. I hope the show returns for an 8th season, without Sela Ward.

I don't find her obnoxious, just very sensual, and I'm a regular viewer. Who is not receiving her well? What viewers? All my friends think she is a terrific addition. She shows how a "mature" women ( who are a real rarity on TV today) can be shown as intelligent AND sexual at the same time. Would like to see her take a bigger role, and maybe have an affair with another regular.
