No, Dog is not the perfect gentleman. It's easy to critique him and find in him what's not politically correct. The people who are so against his nature and behavior, most likely have similar transgressions. If you are big enough to look from a different perspective, realize he is on a very short list of ex-convicts making good. I myself had a drug habit for almost 20 years. I now am a drug and alcohol counselour. I respect the changes he has made. You can take a drug addict out of the street but you cant take the street out of him.
Look loser like ils as "Dog"... No one cares about the trials you have overcome with your substance abuse, etc because no one but you put yourself in that circle of stupidity! I feel zero sorrow ,sympathy, empathy, etc for anyone that utilizes drugs or sells drugs because to me you are simply contagions and vectors of such contagions so please go cry me a river and stfu!!!! P.s "Dog" is a moron to the n th degree and his loser ass should find a real job and get a real haircut!

Yeah, but his family ISN'T DRUG-FREE. There are a lot of rumor going around about him smoking more than just weed-which I won't say on this forum-but it's a common rumor out here!

Dog is a cartoon character created for TV hon. The viewers of this "show" have p[oor educational backgrounds generlaly. It is what producers call "bottom feeding." Dog has yet to capture anyone important although he does well with drug addicts and elerly women. He is a sham and an embarrassment to hawaii.
Do you even know anything about Dog? He captured Luster whom was on the FBI's 10 most wanted list. He has also captured people that have been on Hawaii's 10 most wanted list.
How the heck can you say that the viewers of this show have poor educational skills? Do you know the millions of viewers personally? Personally I do not like being called a bottom feeder either. who the heck do you think you are anyways?

BTW-he's not cleaning the streets...these "criminals" that he is catching were allowed by his bail-bond company to roam free. So all he is doing is bringing back the same criminals that he helped posted out of jail in the 1st place.
He did a great thing with the Max Factor heir capture. But don't think that HI is loving the Chapmans out here. His TV show makes locals look bad and his Christian-cruising attitude is a contradiction to the highest degree.
I'll admit, I did watch the show to see the different places that were being filmed to see if I recognized any of them...but I certainly wasn't impressed with him or his family.
Anybody that is arrested for a crime, if that crime is not a really bad one the judge sets bail for that person. Then a bail bondsman bails them out of jail. They can be out as long as they follow the terms of the bondsman. If they violate the terms of agreement or do not show up for court, well then Dog has to go back out and bring them in himself. Check into the legal system before you make remarks that make you look foolish ok.

That's great that you're loyal to his show-but the fact is that these "harden criminals" that he seeks were released by his company. That's basically my point. Yes, if they violate the terms of the probation he captures them and returns them to jail. No one has disputed that. However, is is the police dept that capture ciminals and lock them up-not bails bondmen. It's all for TV and if you want to believe other-you continue to believe as you were.

Wow, this is the 1st time that I'll cosign with you!

He is far from representing the Hawaiian values that he tries to preach and is an embarrassment.

Even just smoking weed would seem a bit hypocritical to me, with him preaching the word of God and everything.

APV is right. He is demeaning to hawaiians. The last thing we need is more bad press about our state. My freind from rural Kentucky says that folks back there laugh at the Hawaiians it depicts and thinks we are all useless morons on welfare.

yikes. You know, what is funny is thta the show and its script have the enormnously unattarctive and fat wife of Dog catching Hawaiin drug users by sneaking around public housing in her bloated SUV. The entire thing is absurd. No one could be caught, even if drunk or drugged, by these hillbilly morons and their grotestque "family."

Capturing Andrew Luster was a huge deal. But he has a big base of fans, too bad it makes Hawaii look like a drug infested criminal infested place to live. And why is it when they shoot the show there, all the folks they show on TV are locals and no haoles? I mean are these folks that racist? Maybe making the locals look stupid?

You never seen me use the word hero.
The police find them and lock them up when they are caught. Then a judge sets bail, and that is where the many bailbondsmen and bounty hunter come into play. It is the baibondsmen job to see that they do not break the terms of the bail, and to go back out and arrest them if they violate the terms of the bail or miss the court date. the bailbondsmen all have bounty hunters that work for them.

I have no idea what a haoles is. They bond out whom the judge sets bail for. If most of what is picked up by police are drug addicts, it is just reality that is the people that Dog is going to be chasing.
Take your local news and main stream media even. How often do you see them report something good? Not very often. They always report the bad. The killings, the floods etc., but hardly ever anything good. It is tv. One reason that I have heard that he works in mostly Hawaii and sometimes Colorado, is that Hawaii is one of very few states where a convicted felong can get a permit for bailbondsmen or bounty hunting.
You guys that do not like him have the choice, simply change the channel. Nobody is forcing you to watch their show at all.

Obviously reading is not your strongesrt point. Where did I ever quote you as using the term hero? That came from me otherwise "--" would have been used!

That's great that you know about the bail bonds process-but that has NOTHING to do with my original point. Why is it that the majority of the posters on this thread are getting it but you?

If you are so blinded by him, that's your business. However, out here people know differently. Continue as you were.
