What should we make of Bono, Cruz hand in hand in St.-Tropez? -

Bono is on vacation with his family. His wife IS with him and they are great friends with both Penelope Cruz and Christy Turlington.

That may be, but as much as I adore Bono - the artist, performer, humanitarian (can't say the man because I don't know him)I'm sure glad I am not the one married to him. It must be very, very challenging. I mean, fine, if he and Cruz are buddies, and for a brief, silly or even serious memonet, they held hands - like giving a hug, then fine. Then, to see them exiting a nightclub the same way, and centimeters from each others' face in the car that whisked them away - come on! It's really none of my business - but, but I have admired Bono - and his marriage. In w time when my own marriage crumbled, andthose of fmaily and friends, and to see him make it - it was inspiring, a lot like his music and caring world efforts. Now it looks as if maybe, maybe that happy marriage still-in-love-with-my-wife-thi ng seems like a facade. Maybe one thing when he was young and stupid and frolicking with supermodels, flirtateous as hell, OK. But this stuff is a little pathetic. Oh, he's different. I hear people say that! NOnsense! That's just it - he and Ali are no different from any of us except for wealth and fame. That's it. If Ali's not in the least jealous, then they have an agreement/arrangment. And then their marriage IS a facade, and that would be disppointing since I have defended Bono against insults that he is a fraud. I suppose it may boil down to , when people get fame, they THINK that sets them apart from the common man, so therefore they MUST be exempt from moral and ethical rights and wrongs. I would have a little more resect for Bono if he just told the truth - "Hey, no of you business" or, " I'm not IN lOVE with my wife" rather than blabber on and on about how in love he is, etc., when actions speak louder than words. I will always love BOno's work and music, but in my heart, he has lost a little ground here. And I'm sure that he won't lose any sleep over that!

U-2 front man Bono, whose real name is Bob Boner, has confessed his attraction to Penelope (known in Hollywood circles as Penelope Pit-stop) to the world on his latest single, which he unveiled to startled reporters at the seaside resort yesterday. The song, entitled " You made it move again" is set for worldwide release next week and is also set to become a theme song for a new Viagra T.V. ad this fall. Boner (Bono) said we made love for 36 straight hours after she heard the song. Penelope was unavailable for the press conference due to her hospitalization yesterday for a yeast infection.
