Follow the official police link here: http://www.fwpd.org/april/press.htm

Now look at the map with crime locations and where letters and writings are found.

Go to google maps and look up same locations and one will see that about a mile to the east of where her body was found, in Spencerville there is a RR track. Follow this same RR track SW to Grabill and two letters are found within blocks of this RR track. Continue SW to where the track meets State Rt. 37 and this is near where the writing is found on the barn. Further SW along this RR track and about a mile West of it near Lake Forest is where another letter is found. Continue to follow this RR track SW to New Haven and zoom in. One will see that this exact same RR track turns due west and passes within blocks of where April was abducted.

Only one letter was found further than a mile from this RR track.

I do not think this perpetrator is a RR transit but someone who works for the railroad, or a contractor that maintains the track. This person would be familiar with roads and areas near the RR tracks from traveling to work this stretch of RR line.

April was abducted between 3-4 pm within blocks of these RR tracks in what appears to be a crime of opportunity, a young girl walking alone with no one around.
Construction trade workers, including RR construction and repair, typically work from 7am to 3:30pm, this includes ˝ hr for lunch. The perpetrator may have worked the RR track line near Aprils home and was trolling the neighborhood on his way home from work on the date of her abduction.

The police need to check if a RR construction yard was located near the place of abduction, or if any maintenance of the track was preformed on or near the date of April’s abduction. Get names of the persons who worked this RR track location near April's abduction and compare them to other names who have work locations near, and approximate dates where the letters, writings, and body was found…

if they have not done this already.

It appears this particular RR line is owned by the Norfolk Southern Railroad. Their yard is located at 1735 Nelson Road, about a mile south of the Lake Forest suburb where apparently one of the letters was found.

ALSO= 7-year-old Sarah Bowker of Fort Wayne Indiana, was murdered and found in a ditch near the Stone Point Village apartments June 13, 1990, which is located off Coldwater Road. This location is within blocks of a North-South RR track that runs parallel to Coldwater Road and is connected to the Norfolk line.

This story apalls me and the fact that 21 years has lead no where... But the RR theory is smart, and how the cops felt that the misspelling of the sentences was deliberate, that's quite a good hunch. But we all know that this guy knew what he was doing. Come on, there's no dna? Someones gotta figure it out soon.

This is so weird.

The condom
the notes left
dna
the letters in town
the nude pictures

....Obviously this guy has never beeen in any serious trouble with the law, or he would be in the DNA database.
Like they mentioned on AMW, it reminds me alot of BTK type of person. He desperatly wants the attention.
I wonder why the letters stopped suddenly for so long?????

Actually I think he has been in trouble before, just nothing they would have reason to take a DNA sample for....probably when he was young, something like peep-n-tom or arson. Any FBI profiler will agree that one does not just wake up one day in their 30's and start killing children, they always have a past extending into their juvenile days.

I'm also thinking about this...We have all seen the crew-cab pickups the RR uses, the ones with the RR wheels that can drop down so they can drive on the tracks to inspect and do minor maintenance with. Could be one of them people. They drive the roads near the tracks and enter the tracks at the crossings, most letters, the barn, and area where April's body was found were all near RR crossings, a comfort zone for people who work the tracks.
April was kidnapped within blocks of the tracks, and this location is only a few miles from the Norfolk RR yard where such crews would work out of.

I actually commented on this at the CNN site after reading posts that said they thought he was illiterate.
My post read something like this: "If you people think this guy is some illiterate truck driver you could not be more wrong. These type of people are usually much smarter that average. Closer inspection tells us that he wrote the letters in the opposite hand than normal writing skills, this is apparent because of the lack of size control of the letters."
I followed that post up with my theory and when I went back to look at the posts they were not there. But others who posted after me were....Hummmm???

Exactly, that's why I wrote "serious trouble"
...I agree, you just don't wake up like this. He obviously obsesses over this, continually, for years.
My question is, when was the last known contact from this guy?
I couldn't seem to understand what the time line of when the last contact was.

Also, last night on AMW, it showed a bedspread in the backgroung of the "nude pic", and AMW asked people to look and see if they recognized it...it reminded me of a cheap motel bedspread...but, who knows.
I just wonder if they've compared the pic evidence with local motels, etc....
Then maybelook into motel 'check in' records...it's a stretch, but it's something.

I thought that as well.

These type of guys are very intelligent. If I were in the killers shoes, I would try to misspell words...or do something in my writing, that's oposite of what I'm actually about.

I'm sure the cops are aware of that...obviously.

...VG, I wonder why the posts disappeared?

I'm also thinking about this: If one takes a look at the area where Aprils body was found from the satellite view...there are houses and farms all around, not the best place to dump a body along side the road unless he wanted it to be found quickly, or he was nervous and in a hurry. Being that he has scribbled on barns in heavily traveled areas and dropping of letters all over the county, I would think he wanted the body found quickly. So this tells us he was comfortable in the area the body was found and new the best time to dump this body when no one would be driving by...
I would not put it past him to be working nearby this dump-site so he could watch the excitement after the body was found. Maybe he was working near the RR crossing in Spencerville a mile down the road, and dumped the body on his way to work that Monday morning...early morning.
This is just another theory since I have no clue as to how long April's body was exposed to the elements.

Good point, I don't think this guy is dumb enough to show the background of his own home in a picture he knows the police will soon have.

I think the last letters were found in 2004, the police may have later letters or evidence that they are keeping to their selves.

BTW how have you been Jodi?? Long time no chat.

I know exactly they disappeared...Should my theory prove correct some lazy-ass CNN reporter will claim the theory as their own.
What they do not know is I sent my theory to the police as well because I really do truly wish they catch this guy...Not an ego thing with me, but you would know this Jodi from my work on the Shanda Sharer case.

Interesting!

...You've done great with the Shanda Sharer case.
I'm so glad you've given your theory to the police. I want this guy caught...badly!!!
Every little bit could help.

Could it also be that a CNN reporter read your theory, reported it to the cops, and the cops asked them to remove it, as to not hinder their case???? Or tip the killer off?
You know the killer could possibly be reading THIS....WOW.

This is possible...I wonder why the police did not make the connection after the writing was found on the barn in 1990 being that all three locations were associated with the RR tracks. Unless they thought the barn writing was a sick prank.

He is probably looking at the CNN site or AMW site. I doubt if he knows this one exists.
