The U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Curiosity rover landed safely on Mars, after a 352 million-mile journey and harrowing plunge through the planet's atmosphere dubbed "7 Minutes of Terror." The vehicle, loaded with the most-sophisticated instruments ever used off Earth, touched down at 1:32 a.m. New York time.

Rocket fuel or compressed air to guide it on it's 352-million mile journey? I maye WOULD get excited about this..if humans were going to check out the Red Planet. They could relay the helpful scientific info..whether life could survive there. WHY THE FREAK waste time, energy and a billion bucks for a non-manned spaceship to perhaps SEE if Life EVER did exist there..Yo Dudes, people are starving on our planet..THAT money could have fed the entire globe and some leftover for dessert also..
