Voice mail tirade may 'haunt' Alec Baldwin's political aims

What kind of "Liberal" would verbally abuse his daughter in such a harmful, thoughtless way. I thought liberals were all about understanding the feelings of others and making sure everyone was treated with respect -- i.e. "sensitive" and caring people. Baldwin seems nothing more than a narcissitic bully-boy.

Alot of thoughtless people do not realize that perhaps the poor actor had a bad day and was under alot of stress on that fatefull day. A hollywood insider told me yesterday that in fact, on the day that the purported "thoughtless little pig " comment was indeed made, Baldwin was actually talking about a miniature pot bellied pig that was born without a brain he had just "adopted" from an animal shelter.

I personally don't care for this man's politics but a private conversation of a parent attempting to instill some degree of integrity into his own child, that should not have been outed in the first place, is no indicator of what type of leader he may be.

He was attempting to deal with a personal issue. The kid needed a stern talking to and he talked to her sternly, like any loving parent. No swearing, no physical abuse. Just a stern lecture.

Worse would have been to not say anything, to not care.

These Hollywood liberals are the biggest hypocrites on the planet. Because they feel guilty about the obscene amounts of money they make they pretend to care more about people and the environment than everybody else. Hollywood types have the highest divorce rates, are in and out of rehab, they all talk about how bad it is for you and me to drive SUV’S, yet they travel around in limo’s and on private jets. Exactly why do they think their opinions matter more than ours? They constantly complain about the job our elected officials are doing and how inefficient our government is, yet all want a bigger government, ironic huh? They make millions living the American dream yet suck up to Socialist dictators like Hugo Chavez. If you people are looking to celebrities for enlightenment you are going to be disappointment with the results.

Not one of you lives behind there doors. For all you no the little girl is a snob and spoiled rotten to boot and feels that she can start problems with adults at an early age. I can see where her life is going. No matter what you do not disrespect your parents. And if he did say that maybe it was out of a fit of rage and really didn’t mean it. But what’s done is done . Look at the picture the SS ran. His eyes are bloodshot and swollen-he appears intoxicated-not the kind of picture you run in a supportive manner.

Baldwin, also unaware he was being Tape recorded at his Long Island "getaway apartment" was recorded saying " I want to be VICE PRESIDENT" But added " But I hate Obama, and I hate McCain, and I hate Hillary" When told that unfortunatley, those were the only choices, Baldwin commented "Then I want to be President, except I hate myself too"
