PGM, I guess when you get the remote pried away from your fat fingers to realize that there's more programming that NFL Network and there's more to life than complaining about others' comments (why do YOU care what's posted here?) then you can show the rest of us how to "get a life". When I'm trying to placate a toddler for a couple of minutes to take care of an infant, I CARE what "little Timmy" watches because DirecTV caters to bozos like YOU! No choices is a waste of my money. Do your lives really revolve around your kids' television programming? I mean, who runs the show in your house, anyway? Apparently, little Timmy does. It's a freaking channel. Get over it. Buy a DVD if you miss JoJo that much.
Secondly, did you think that maybe, just maybe, this is all part of the negotiations process that happens every time DirecTV is up against entities like Disney? Think about it. I guarantee DirecTV will be your hero in just a few weeks when they announce that they'll be carrying the channel; you'll all feel pleased as punch about it as if they heard your cries of "foul" and actually listened to you.

I am not a happy camper right now. I am 15 years old and I babysit a lot of kids between the ages of 2-7. I've been waiting for almost over a month for this channel because most of the kids enjoy the morning block on Disney, and get upset when the normal Disney shows start playing...Also I was looking forward to seeing Stanley.

Thats crap direct tv is suppost to be the best. My child hates the nick jr channel and sprout. We have tried to have her watch it but she takes to the shows on Disney jr and I in all honest option prefer her to watch the shows on Disney jr. She has learned a lot from shows like Mickey mouse club house. If any other providers get the channel were I'm at I might switch to them.

wow people. i'm the parent of two little boys. i currently have ATT Uverse and am switching to DirecTV in a week since UVerse isnt available where I am moving. Uverse doesnt offer Disney Jr right now either. In fact, there are only about 6 cable providers in the country that are currently offering it. As for the ads, those are run by Disney, not the cable/satellite provider. Some of you just need to chill out.
If your child needs to watch Mickey or Chuggington or Jake that bad...SET YOUR DVR and record some!

We will give Directv a little bit longer before we switch to Comcast. I think the decision makers at Directv don't have any children. If they do, maybe they are catching a lot of grief from their wives right now! It's a stupid business decision to not carry this channel. I'm hoping that they come to their senses soon. My two youngest are 4 and 5 - if Directv takes too long to get this channel, my kids will be past the age that is interested in these shows. I won't let that happen. I'll break my contract in a heartbeat to go to the competition...

Umm this does sound a stupid thing if you guys want disney junior drop directv they dont trust if you see ads about directv its all a lie they remove channels dont add new channels they proise but turns out bad if you want disney junior channel switch providers to comcast, time warner cable, cox, bright house any of them.

It is completely rediculious that DirecTv has decided not to carry the Disney Junior channel. My son who is not quite 2 has been asking to watch shows that are not on the regular Disney channels anymore and he is so young that it is hard to explain to him. Why shouldn't he be able to watch the shows that he has learned so much from. Disney Juniors interactive shows are unmatched to any other and there will not be a 4 hour window soon. The other Disney Channels are cutting back on the Disney Junior shows because Disney Junior has its own channel now. I am so frustrated about this decision and feel that it needs to change.
