Autistic Boys Caged 'to Keep Them Safe,' Suspect Testifies
A Vancouver, Wash., man accused of imprisoning his two autistic sons in a room with a "cage-like" door testified that he'd heard on TV that it was OK to lock a child in a room for safety, and his former live-in girlfriend broke down in tears on the stand.

That is absolutely terrible and just as bad as neglect to me. You should never ever lock your children in their bedroom, special needs or not it is wrong and I hope they intend to take some action against the man .. if they don't put a stop to that part of the childrens' lives.
